Baby #3!

[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] may be unexpected but I wouldn’t say it’s startling with your older children. [name_m]The[/name_m] main things that stand out for me are:

  • Heritage – I think of [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] as Italian and would assume Italian heritage (unlike [name_m]Aiden[/name_m] where I wouldn’t assume [name_m]Irish[/name_m] heritage). That said, it seems at least online that some see it as more pan-European (perhaps Bridgerton has influenced this though I haven’t seen it).
  • Length – Especially next to [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] appears quite long and elaborate. However, [name_f]Fran[/name_f] or [name_m]Frankie[/name_m] lessens both of the above.

Personally, I would go with [name_f]Frances[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], but I absolutely wouldn’t talk yourself out it for these reasons if [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is the strong favourite.

My favourite from your list is [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] with [name_m]Aiden[/name_m] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I like the nature tie to [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and the ‘aye’ sound shared with [name_m]Aiden[/name_m].

[name_m]Other[/name_m] combinations that I like:

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
