Baby # 5- Short(ish) Lists!

[name]Hi[/name] all! My Aunt says a big thank you to all who gave suggestions for her fifth baby. She has discussed the names with her husband and they have compiled two short(ish) lists and I’m curious to see what you all think. So which names do you think go best with her other children’s names? Her kids are [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Helena[/name], [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Lillian[/name], [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Miller[/name] and [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Paul[/name]. Last name is Elwell.

Girls:
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name]/[name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Georgina[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name]

Boys:
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Leopold[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Quentin[/name] (since he’d be the 5th child)
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Willoughby[/name]

Thanks In Advance!

[name]Hi[/name]!

I’d maintain the three-syllable first name pattern, personally. So, I’d use these with [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Meredith[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], and [name]Jameson[/name]:

[name]Beatrice[/name] ([name]Beatrix[/name]?)
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]

Actually, [name]Annabel[/name] and [name]Isabel[/name] Elwell both sound ridiculous, so I’d use either [name]Adeline[/name] or [name]Beatrice[/name], though I prefer [name]Beatrix[/name]. [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] Elwell is sweet, too! [name]Love[/name] [name]Bea[/name]…

[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]

I think [name]Frederick[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] are my favorites, and [name]Oliver[/name] Elwell has a nice sound to it. [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Quentin[/name] Elwell gets my vote!

[name]Georgina[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Adele[/name]

Boys:
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Leopold[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Quentin[/name] (since he’d be the 5th child)
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Willoughby[/name]

[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Charles[/name] [name]Quintin[/name]

I love [name]Adelaide[/name] since it’s my daughter’s name. I also love [name]Georgina[/name], [name]Rosalie[/name] and [name]Philippa[/name] of the girls names. [name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Annabel[/name] are okey too. Of the boys I like [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Leopold[/name]. With her other children’s names I would go with [name]Adelaide[/name] or [name]Georgina[/name] for a girl and [name]Oliver[/name] or [name]Charles[/name] for a boy.

I vote for [name]Rosalie[/name] or [name]Adelaide[/name] for a girl… originally, I thought [name]Beatrice[/name] would be nice but then I tried to say “[name]Katherine[/name], [name]Meredith[/name], and [name]Beatrice[/name]” and it came out “[name]Katherine[/name], Meredice, and Beatrith”. Maybe that’s just me. I prefer [name]Rosalie[/name], since [name]Adelaide[/name] Elwell is sort of a tongue twister.

For a boy, I like [name]Willoughby[/name]… it sounds nice with [name]Theodore[/name] and has the same surname-y feel as [name]Jameson[/name]. [name]Frederick[/name] is another favorite of mine, but with the other children’s names I think it feels too “old”. HTH! :o)
