I haven’t posted here in about 1.5-2 years since I was searching for a girl name for #4, and now here we are expecting #5 in [name_u]February[/name_u]! We have 2 boys and 2 girls already and I’m just feeling lost as I search name lists. Since we have an even number of genders we’re really tempted to wait until birth to find out this baby’s gender but that just means I need a name for each which makes it harder. I have a strong feeling it’s a boy but am not certain. I’d still like to have a name for each ready though.
Not super big into the whole “sibset deal” I keep reading about, as in I don’t feel a need to keep to a theme or be matchy in any way, but I just don’t want one way out in left field compared to the others if that makes sense.
I really like traditional names that are probably bordering “old fashioned” and “old people names” by a lot of the names I see my kids going to school with these days. I prefer to keep out of the top 100 as I have a name that was “normal” but uncommon and I loved it growing up. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband had 4 boys in his class with the same name and started going by a different name or nickname basically since then into adulthood and I don’t want to put my own kids through that. I know that’s a lot of criteria and I’ve got time, so just brainstorming!

Thank you for reminding me of some old favorites!! [name_u]Louise[/name_u], [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] were all suggestions of mine at one point or another for our girls. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is my mother’s name and we don’t have the best relationship so not really an option there unfortunately.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_u]Louise[/name_u] would be too close when being said aloud though?

I really love [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] he’s such a sweet choice with wholesome cottagecore imagery attached. I also think he works wonders with your kiddos names.
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
I love your names - and I get what you meant by sibsets (I always say individual name most important but good to have reasonable equity across siblings).
I love Timothy of the two, just because I prefer its jaunty feel. Timothy Russell is lovely as a combo.
Other possibilities:
Was going to say Charles or Andrew but perhaps too close to current royal family with Edward and Philip!

So many names I’ve seen suggested are often so far out from what someone seems to like I wonder if they saw the original post haha. I will be running these by my husband and seeing if there are any bites!

I know you aren’t fussed by the sibset matching, but I just noticed looking at your kids’ names that P is the only initial that doesn’t repeat. So perhaps a P name, either as first or middle, could work? There’s lots of great options that I think meet your criteria:
