With your daughters [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], I like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], or [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] the best. I love the middle name [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], but it’s a hard one to pair with a first name that also ends in an A.
I think your names are quite lovely. Personally I would stay away from [name_f]Juliana[/name_f], since it is so similar to [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but then again [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is only a middle name and the name might even be a little nod to her big sister. I like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but hesitate to recommend it because of its popularity. I don’t personally care for [name_f]Alaina[/name_f], but I do like related names [name_u]Lane[/name_u] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] (it can be pronounced the same as [name_f]Alaina[/name_f]). [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] are both great names that pair very well with the rest of your family.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]- These are my favorite two names from both of your lists. However, I’m not so sure about the flow, and your other children have such nicely flowing names.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]- I’m a little apprehensive about [name_f]Jane[/name_f], because it looks so similar to [name_f]Janine[/name_f]. But this might be kind of a cool thing, a connection to you and to your oldest daughter. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds sweet and spunky all at once.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]- I love this one! It has sort of a Southern charm to it, and I like how it kind of breaks the mold with your other daughters’ names.
Have you considered [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]? I really like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] but not the two together because of their shared -ia endings.
I totally agree with the a endings being difficult to be paired together.
Funny thing about [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]- I chose is because [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (7) wants the baby to be named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] the 2nd or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] is my way of honoring her very sweet request, but in a new way. I have always loved the Jul-names, too!
This is quite funny - my name is [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and my sister’s name is [name_f]Iris[/name_f]!
I think with your sibset [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is beautiful, however [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is close to [name_f]Janine[/name_f].
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] fits in with your other girls’ names, but I don’t love the name personally. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] could be pretty, though. As someone else mentioned, I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] would be a sweet twist on [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]!
My favorite combo for you is [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would also work very well with the sibling names. Good luck choosing!
All lovely options!
Looking at you other children’s names, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] or [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] seem to make the most sense invthe first spot. I quite like the sound if [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] in this case would be my favorite.
I vote for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]! I also like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
I think my favorite combination is [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]…I love the nn Livi!
Second would be [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], I think, but [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds good too. [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is quite spunky, especially if you went w/the nn JJ.
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] (I love [name_u]Jule[/name_u]-names!) and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] work better with your classic sib set. I think [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] is very 1980-90’s and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], to me is more of a doggie name. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is very ethnic and if you have Irish heritage…go for it. I don’t think any of your middle names work with [name_f]Juliana[/name_f], but [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is nice, and all the girls would have vowel first names and J middle names…cute!
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are my favorite! That being said I think [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] ([name_f]Alaina[/name_f]) is adorable! Good luck!
You have some beautiful names chosen. You can’t go wrong with any of them. I really like the combo of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I think it goes very well with your other daughters, and it fits that pattern that their middle starts with a J.
Thank you so much for all of your thoughts!
I do love [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], but am stumped on a nickname, which i will inevitably use. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] doesn’t have one, per se. We call him Quinny or the even crazier “Quinnigan!”
Not a fan of Fi or [name_f]Fifi[/name_f]. Any ideas? Should I not worry about it and let one come naturally?
My favourites are [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] with your sibset.
As for combos (my top for each name):
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
Possible nicknames for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] - [name_f]Fia[/name_f], [name_f]Ona[/name_f], [name_f]Onie[/name_f] and Finnie. I love [name_f]Fia[/name_f]!
