Ok ladies so I was on here a week or so ago before my baby was born… and he’s here with no name as we had a complete change of lists literally after he has been born
We had [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]… but have now opted for [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] or [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]??
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] is definitely out… although still might consider [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]… Would love to hear thoughts on [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] or [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] as it’s most likely out of those…
Well, I think that [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] is the best choice…but if that’s out I pick [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. It’s fairly popular, but w/good reasoning. It’s a great name. Handsome yet gentle, old fashioned, a little quirky. I don’t think that it’s a huge deal about your friend if you rarely see each other. Maybe run it by her first?
I want to like [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]…I really do, but [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] Weinstein…It’s the first thing I think of. I used to think of the slightly demented yet funny play ‘[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]’ about the guy who sees the imaginary rabbit named [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. Maybe the Weinstein thing will blow over soon.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is great and I think you can still use it on account of the distance between you and your friend. My second choice is [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is a nice name but, well, [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] Weinstein. He kinda ruins it for me.
My vote is for [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]! It is a really handsome name. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] has bad associations right now and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is too popular for my taste. [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is a very nice name.

I think the Weinstein thing will blow over in time but it is worth thinking of… I actually hadn’t even thought of it until you mentioned it… and so has everybody else now that I read through the reply’s haha
Congratulations! [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] are the winning two for me. Your friend, and her child named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], live in Australia so I think you are fine using it but it would be a nice gesture to send her your intentions before the announcement. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is a well-used name (because it is a lovely choice) so I’m sure she knows a few Olivers, not like an obscure name would be.
I love your kids names! I think that [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] will nicely round out your sib set, (and it has always been a fave of mine!) I think it is super sweet and just overall a great name! Congratulations on your newest addition to your family!
For what it’s worth, I’m a huge movie buff, and I didn’t consider the Weinstein connection from [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] until I saw it in the comments. [name_m]Even[/name_m] still, I think that connection is dying out from public consciousness since he is primarily known as “Weinstein” in the media and less known by his first name alone (from what I’ve seen, at least).
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] might be my first choice, but I really like [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] with your other kids’ names, and it’s a close second for me.
I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] are both great options! Strong but easy names! Another options could be [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Archer[/name_m]/[name_m]Archie[/name_m], [name_m]Winston[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
