I married a wonderful man with a unique last name! It starts with an H and has an “sl” in the middle which people really seem to struggle with. It works best with simple names. We are looking for strong boy names that flow well and that we can agree on - classic, not too far out there. We also like the idea of family names as middle names if possible. We keep calling him [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]. My favorite, and my husband’s favorite, but that totally messes with the “sl” problem. :o

I’ve got an idea! Unfortunately [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is the only name with that particular meaning but a lot of names mean meadow just like half of [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] -

I like [name_u]Rylan[/name_u]! I like [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] too, but as a former teacher I had a few Bradleys. Thanks for the suggestions!

I want to like [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] even though it literally means bald. :o Surely he wouldn’t find out about that until later in life when he can have a sense of humor about it.
