[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone, it’s been a minute since I last posted here! Last week was a good week… I had my latest midwife appointment on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] morning and heard baby girl’s heartbeat again. Then, on [name_m]Thursday[/name_m] morning, we had our anatomy scan and got to see her again too! The scan went really well and everything looks as it should be which was such a relief. I’m now 21+5 and definitely feeling the faintest movements on a regular basis now (mainly in the evening) which is so exciting! I can’t wait for them to get stronger and for SO to be able to feel her too.
No news to report on names, other than SO suggesting [name_u]Ember[/name_u] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f] as possible names. I think I’m going to veto Ember… I’m worried it’ll be misheard as [name_f]Amber[/name_f] often, and I have a cousin called [name_f]Amber[/name_f] as well. [name_f]Paige[/name_f] I’m a little more open too, but it’ll depend on finding a middle name that makes her feel a little more ‘now’ and a little less 00s.
I’ve also made a good dent in our baby essentials shopping list, maybe 20-25% left to buy. I tried to make the most of the [name_m]Black[/name_m] [name_m]Friday[/name_m] sales and picked up quite a few bargains! With a lot more “baby things” around the house now, it’s starting to feel a bit more real!
