I’m not TTC but saw this post was created by you [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and I had to say congratulations as I feel I have followed your updates so this update is just so fabulous. You’ll be an amazing mama wishing you all the best with everything!
Moving away from your wonderful news [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] I also want to say hugest congratulations @Wandarine wishing you all the best with your journey!
On another note hugest congratulations and well wishes to all the future parents who may post on this page.
I just had my official 1st trimester ultrasound
Everything’s looking fine, they are almost one inch tall, have a head and two feet and are moving. I got the picture that we’ll be using to tell my parents in three weeks, it’s not the best image but I suppose it will be clear from context The doctor checked the box for multiples at first but he quickly corrected himself, much to my relief because I’m pretty sure I double ovulated and was really scared there! Now I just need to find out what the percentages on the print mean, Google wasn’t helpful…
Otherwise I’m feeling a bit better. Not constantly sick any more, still tired though.
I had my first appointment this week and came looking for this thread. I have been on Nameberry since I was a teenager and have been a long time lurker but now it’s my turn! I am a little more than 7 weeks, EDD is [name_f]April[/name_f] 29! (Cue [name_m]Taylor[/name_m] [name_m]Swift[/name_m], "Do you really wanna know where I was [name_f]April[/name_f] 29th?) [name_f]Babe[/name_f] is the size of a blueberry and has a heartbeat of 139 which is too early to hear, but my husband and I got to see flickering on the screen!
Thank you @BlueYorkie and right back at you! [name_m]Welcome[/name_m] to the thread!
You’ve been a [name_f]Berry[/name_f] for over ten years I totally get the feeling of “now it’s my turn”, hihi.
I reached somewhat of a new milestone yesterday – I threw up [name_f]Morning[/name_f] sickness is a lie guys, the sickness does not care what time it is. Husband promptly joked that it can’t be his if baby protests against having pizza like that.
On [name_f]Monday[/name_f] I told my boss, he seemed the most excited of all so far. He knows we’ve been trying for some time, it was over a year ago that I first approached him about the possibility of having a baby while enrolled in a PhD program. He also offered me a bunch of used stuff from his children. Unfortunately, he’s not the one who would most likely be my PhD supervisor, that one I still need to talk to (but I have no reason to believe he won’t be happy as well).
Two more weeks until I see my parents and can tell them. I can’t wait, it’s so awkward when they ask how it’s going and I’m like “oh, you know… the usual…”
