šŸ¤ baby berries due april, may, and june of 2025

I agree with @_thelittlefairywren - itā€™s nice to tell a few safe people early on. We did IVF so my parents were pretty involved, we didnā€™t tell them in any special sort of way. With my brother and sister in law, we facetimed and were holding a onesie in front of the camera when they answered. It was low key and cute.

[name_m]Welcome[/name_m] and congrats!

I am 15w2d today and we got our NIPT results earlier this week. Low risk on everything and baby is a boy! I had wanted a girl and convinced myself it was a girl thus far, so I was a little shocked. But now I am so excited!

We still have to come up with a name for him. Weā€™ve had names picked out for years, and still love our girl name, but our boy name hasnā€™t felt right since I got pregnant.

Lol, same! Have been lurking on nameberry since I was a teen (canā€™t remember if it was late high school or early college?) and am now 37. Isnā€™t it weird when itā€™s finally your turn?

I had my anatomy scan yesterday! Everythingā€™s fine, the little chongus was estimated to be in the 84 percentile for weight. We got a really cute picture of their little toes :footprints: [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] didnā€™t check if itā€™s a boy or a girl and I didnā€™t ask. [name_f]Baby[/name_f] will keep their secret a little longer :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

my husband and i had our first appointment with our home birth midwife yesterday. she is the most supportive, understanding, and kind person iā€™ve ever met :white_heart:

we got to hear babyā€™s heart beat, which was strong, and between 130-140, much slower than my first measure in the hospital! iā€™m sure it had to do with being in the comfort of my own home, and having t next to me. she also showed us where baby is positioned, and how to measure that, which was so special. the smile on my husbandā€™s face is something i will never forget. :face_holding_back_tears:

i am about 14 weeks now, showing much more now, and i absolutely love it. feeling very excited to feel those first few movements within the next few weeks!

Feeling movement is super exciting! I was so lucky that I could feel something as early as 16 weeks, my midwifeā€™s description of ā€œlike rising bubblesā€ really helped make sense of it!

that is magical :white_heart:

iā€™ll have to look out for the bubbles! :bubbles:

congratulations to both of you on the progression of your healthy pregnancies :blue_heart: It really eases fears so much to hear and see baby doing so well!! Feeling movements is something Iā€™m so excited for, too!!

Around how many weeks did you guys start showing/having a bump? This is my first pregnancy and Iā€™m at 13 weeks, and as of today I feel like I have a little belly out of nowhere. Iā€™m wearing the same pants today that I wore on [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], and they fit on [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], but today they feel super tight and they ride up so the waistband sits over the bump and its very unpleasant :joy:

the same thing happened to me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

iā€™m now 14 weeks 5 days, and have a pretty clear bump. this is my second pregnancy, but i miscarried my first at 8 weeks, so iā€™m not sure that would affect my size at all, i was always pretty thin before so i think that goes into it as well.

iā€™ve been living in jumpsuits, dresses, leggings, and oversized sweaters, and am honestly loving it! :white_heart:

For me it was more like the belly was coming and going at first. It makes sense that with an empty stomach the uterus has lots of room to hide, but once youā€™ve eaten itā€™s protruding like youā€™re about to burst. Iā€™m not sure when I stopped wearing my regular pants. Some definitely fit me longer than others, but Iā€™m also working from home right now so I live in sweat pants anyway

Expecting my third baby in [name_f]May[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] tip is to start wearing those maternity pants immediately. Theyā€™re the best!

Had another ultrasound today, Iā€™m officially nine weeks and 1 day. Heartbeat still going strong, and much faster than two weeks ago! I was so relieved to see it still goingā€¦ Iā€™ve been so anxious these past couple weeks considering everything that happened with my tooth. Between all the medications, I was so paranoid about the prospect of a missed miscarriage and I was terrified that we would show up today and there would be no heartbeat. But it was there flickering away at 160 and moving around as if to show me they were okay. I feel like I can breathe again just a bit.

I also got my NIPT blood test today, so we should have those results and learn the gender within the next week! I almost canā€™t believe this is happening, but Iā€™m starting to allow myself to feel truly excited and trying my best to let go of the anxiety.

We will tell my family on Thanksgiving, and his family a week later when they visit us for an early [name_m]Christmas[/name_m] visit to Disneyland! I canā€™t wait

Ten weeks today. Found out yesterday that Iā€™m having a girl!! Iā€™m so excited - I was sobbing when we called for our results and the doctor told us. Iā€™ve always dreamed of having a girl and itā€™s finally coming true. :sparkling_heart: We had a boy name picked out already so that part would have been easier to know his name right away, but now weā€™ve got to really think about what to call this little girl!

Iā€™ve also been officially updated to an estimated due date of [name_f]June[/name_f] 19th since I ovulated a bit later. But so far sheā€™s been growing right on track! (I canā€™t believe I get to say she now!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:) Iā€™m so excited to tell our families about her.

I met a baby yesterday. He was so tiny :sob: Iā€™ve always loved meeting babies but now that Iā€™m having one myself it finally feels like Iā€™m supposed to if that makes sense? Now Iā€™m thinking I should have talked to the mother more, but I donā€™t know her, I hardly know the fatherā€¦

Also, shot in the dark since most here arenā€™t as far along as I am, but is anybody else worried that their blood flow is restricted any time they sit down? Crossing my legs isnā€™t even an option any more, but even sitting down at all feels wrong at times.

22 weeks today and I feel like Iā€™m about to burst. I think the baby is having a growth spurt and my belly canā€™t keep up. Hoping my belly will catch up with the growth and it gets better soon

Well, I have officially hit 12 weeks, so Iā€™m relieved to have that huge milestone accomplished. [name_f]Baby[/name_f] was jumping around like crazy at our 12 week scan, so that was incredible to witness. She seems to be doing good, but until our next appointment (not until January!! >.<) I will just have to have faith that everything is going okay. I hope to at least start showing a bit more dramatically soon so that I at least have that physical reassurance that sheā€™s still growing and thriving.

We told both our families over the course of the past week - everyone is so excited and it feels amazing to have everyone in the know. Being able to go to my mom with questions moving forward will hopefully help a lot with my anxiety. [name_m]Will[/name_m] likely make a more public announcement in the coming weeks as we get closer to [name_m]Christmas[/name_m]. Until then, Iā€™m just trying to enjoy every moment of growing our little girl! <3
