They told us we were having a boy at 16 weeks and now, at 28 weeks i just found out our baby is a girl! I’m so excited! Please help me find the perfect name! [name_f]My[/name_f] toddlers name is [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with the NN [name_f]Annie[/name_f] or [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. Audrie’s nickname is often [name_u]Audie[/name_u], and I’m wondering if [name_f]Annie[/name_f] sounds too close? [name_u]Or[/name_u] do you think that would be a cute connection? [name_f]My[/name_f] other name choice would probably be [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. What are your thoughts?
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] / [name_u]Audie[/name_u] are a bit close for my taste, but I wouldn’t say it’s a dealbreaker if you really like that.
I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] to [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] but they’re both lovely choices! The [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] spelling looks a little more stylistically in line with [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] but there’s nothing wrong with going with the streamlined spelling. With [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I like that even if someone were to call her [name_f]Janie[/name_f] /Janey it would still sound fairly distinct from [name_u]Audie[/name_u].
I think it’s adorable. They don’t sound the same at all besides both being two syllables, but alot of names are. Cute simple and sweet
Oh how exciting! I love [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] & [name_f]Jane[/name_f] together! How cute I don’t think [name_f]Annie[/name_f] & [name_u]Audie[/name_u] would be too close, but I’m not a big [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] fan (due to the horror movie connection). But if it’s your favorite, I don’t think the similarities in nicknames should stop you!
I don’t think [name_u]Audie[/name_u] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are too close. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] definitely aren’t. I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] to [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] (and all of the bel/belle) names, though pretty, have always struck me as a bit saccharine. (Feel free to disregard that though because most people don’t agree!) I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! It’s simple, elegant, and sweet, just like [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] to [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] sound nice together.
I think [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] “Annie” works!! I really like it with [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with it!
i think they’re close but not close enough to not name your child that! what about Amabel/Amabelle? (pronounced ah-ma-bell the a sounding like the first a in anna from frozen)
Congratulations
That’s such a surprise honestly good luck with the rest of your pregnancy & two girls is so lovely.
I think [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is lovely and works well with [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]. Personally I don’t think the nickname thing is an issue.
Honestly without knowing your first my choice is [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] but after knowing [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] I’m picking [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. The length difference and somewhat seemingly a style difference of [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] to [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]- [name_f]Jane[/name_f] seems to make more sense to me. Plus you could go for nn [name_f]Janie[/name_f]. But if it was between [name_f]Anna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrie[/name_f]. I’d pick [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
But in the end what makes the most sense is picking the one you like the most.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] & [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are both so cute!
Thank you everyone! After reading everyone’s comments I’m leaning toward [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. Thank you so much for the feedback!
[name_f]Audrie[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are a stunning pair match made in heaven when it comes to names, I think!
I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f]! I’ve also always loved the nn [name_f]Janie[/name_f]. [name_f]Every[/name_f] [name_f]Janie[/name_f] I’ve know is cute, smart, and bubbly.
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] but I’d go with [name_f]Belle[/name_f] for nn. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] gives more middle name vibes to me.
[name_u]Audie[/name_u] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] sound really similar to be siblings. I feel like that could get confusing when calling them constantly.
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f] might work though if you really have your heart set on [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].
[name_f]Audrie[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sound cute together! Would it bother you that there isn’t an easy nickname for [name_f]Jane[/name_f] since [name_f]Audrie[/name_f] has one?
