One of the names that stood out to both of us was Emmett. It seems to pair nicely with Irene? I like them togehter at least.
My husband came up with Cooper, which seems an interesting idea. We’ve never thought about surname-as-names but this one feels doable for us. Then he also suggested Ralph, because he loves The Lord of the Flies… I guess inspiration can come from anywhere.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

I love [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] and it seems like the best for for sleek vintage [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] works well too.

Agree with this! Ralph & Irene would be so adorable, Emmett works too if you like it. To me Cooper feels extremely modern near the old school Irene but it’s doable
Ralph is perfect with Irene, and Ralph Cooper is Ralph Emmett would be a lovely combo. Emmett Cooper works well too.

Like someone else said, [name_u]Cooper[/name_u] is very trendy whereas [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a classic. Then again, some people love that.
I am a midwife and hear all the names and one couple named their twins [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], which at first to me sounded rather odd, but then I thought, who cares, those kids will own their names no matter what! So if [name_u]Cooper[/name_u] seems to be the one you keep circling back to, your little guy will own it totally!
