Hello! Getting close to having my baby, what name do you prefer out of [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], [name_m]Grover[/name_m] and [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]?
Thanks for your help!!
Oooh I think all three of those are great names. I personally like [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] and [name_m]Grover[/name_m] the best.
[name_m]Grover[/name_m] seems the more brave of the two and I think most people will have a strong association with sesame [name_f]Street[/name_f]. But I still really like it.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is my least favourite of the three just because the sound isn’t as appealing to me personally.
I think which one might come down to how it flows with your surname and middle name choice.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] sounds the most versatile
I really like [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]! Fletcher’s also nice, but I guess I’m just not a fan of surname names in general.
And I don’ really like [name_m]Grover[/name_m], I associate it with grovelling
my personal favourite is griffin i just think it sounds so sweet yet definitely suitable for a grown man too, it’s cool, smart, unexpected yet not unfamiliar.
fletcher is really sweet too, definitely a close second. i actually think griffin fletcher or fletcher griffin sound quite nice as first + middle combos.
personally, i don’t like grover it just hasn’t got a particularly appealing sound to me and i can’t really imagine it on a child.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], with [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] a strong second, especially if you’d prefer something a little more unexpected. Both feel cool and rugged to me, without the clunky old school vibe of [name_m]Grover[/name_m].
I adore [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] It would have been our pick if this baby was a boy.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]! [name_m]Grover[/name_m] makes me think “graver”, or just “grave”, and [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] seems very out-there to me.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m], by far.
[name_m]Grover[/name_m] just reminds me strongly of the [name_f]Sesame[/name_f] [name_f]Street[/name_f] character and I really can’t see it on a human at all.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is ok but I just don’t feel strongly about it. It just seems like a basic name that doesn’t make me think about it one way or the other.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is unique but not unheard of. It has strong sounds. It follows the -er ending that many names have so it sounds familiar but it would be unlikely that your child would ever met another [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] in his life. One thing I will bring up is that there is a popular singer named [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and she is female, if that makes a difference to you at all.
I love [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is nice too
[name_m]Griffen[/name_m] and then [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]
Definitely [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]!
I like [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] the most, then [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]
I like all three, but [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] just slightly less because it makes me think of a feathered creature.
I feel like it would only take meeting one real life little boy named [name_m]Grover[/name_m] to break it free from the domination of the [name_f]Sesame[/name_f] [name_f]Street[/name_f] association. It does have that association for me (which is positive because [name_m]Grover[/name_m] was my favorite!) but also the association with the president [name_m]Grover[/name_m] [name_m]Cleveland[/name_m], and orange groves too.
I like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] a lot too. I guess the first syllable does rhyme with wretch, maybe that is part of why a few people didn’t like the sound, but I still like it. It looks handsome to me.
Griffin or Fletcher! I like Griffin a bit more. Both very sweet.
So hard to choose! I like [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], but it’s growing in popularity. [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is sweet too! I would go with [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a middle name picked out? That may help decide what flows better, if you care about that.
Fletcher, for sure! Such a handsome name that is really sweet on a little boy!
I love [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]! Never thought about it before, but I loved it in an instant.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is a close second
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] for me!
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is my favorite. [name_m]Grover[/name_m] feels like a dog’s name, and [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] seems a bit nerdy to me. hope this helps <3 .
