Baby boy name: Jet

My husband loves the name [name_u]Jet[/name_u] for our baby if it’s a boy (we didn’t find out the gender). I can’t decide. I can see it growing on me and being an adorable simple name, but I also don’t know if it sounds like it’s trying too hard. My other top names are [name_m]Ace[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] (neither of which my husband loves).

I feel like [name_u]Jet[/name_u] fits right in with [name_m]Ace[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. I prefer the [name_m]Jett[/name_m] spelling. It is common enough at number #332 in 2014. I do not think it is trying too hard.

[name_m]Jett[/name_m] (this spelling) is a pretty cool name, although it wouldn’t be my first choice since I prefer more formal names with quirky nick names. If you like [name_m]Ace[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] then I’d say it fits right in.

I much prefer the spelling you chose: [name_u]Jet[/name_u]. I think it’s simple, streamlined and cool. I’d say [name_u]Jet[/name_u] and [name_m]Ace[/name_m] are very similar in style, but I personally prefer [name_u]Jet[/name_u].

I like it as long as your last name isn’t one syllable. It’s perfectly usable and doesn’t look like you’re trying too hard. I slightly prefer the [name_m]Jett[/name_m] spelling.

I’m not huge a fan, but I do think that it’s usable. I feel like people are getting more adventurous with names, so I don’t think it would stick out like sore thumb or anything like that.

I love this name. I’d consider it myself, but my husband wouldn’t go for it. I slightly prefer the [name_m]Jett[/name_m] spelling, but [name_u]Jet[/name_u] is nice too. I don’t think it’s too odd or trying to hard.
