I really like [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] sounds like a dashing name. Did you want suggestions for middles? I think a multi-syllable, more traditional name would balance [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] out nicely. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], or [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]?

Thanks for your input! anyone else?

Ohhh this is tough…

On one hand you’ve got [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] a beautiful name that’s not super popular with nicknames (Rook, Roo,Bro etc)but doesn’t sound as good with [name_m]Allen[/name_m] as [name_m]Luke[/name_m] does

[name_m]Luke[/name_m] is more common, but sounds better with [name_m]Allen[/name_m] and there aren’t any nickname possibilities

In the end it’s whether you’d sacrifice the sound for nicknames and less popularity or sound for nicknames and popularity.
I’d choose [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] got my vote, too! [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] is nice, but [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] is a really cool name! I like a couple [name_m]Luke[/name_m] names ([name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], in particular), but for some reason, I have never particularly warmed up to [name_m]Luke[/name_m] as a standalone name. I like @auroralights suggestions (particularly [name_m]William[/name_m]!), but I would avoid [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], handsome though he is. All I can think of is the bad guy in [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] at Christmastime (although the association could be strong with me since it’s one of my favorite [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] films!)–[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], III, haha.

A few other combo ideas:

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] (I was going to suggest [name_m]Edward[/name_m] or [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] sounds better here!)
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (love!)
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] (also love!)
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u]

Good luck!

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] sounds amazing! It’s not very common, but not unheard of. It flows very well with your last name. I think it ages super well and it is just an all around handsome name.

I really like both so this was hard but I voted [name_m]Luke[/name_m] in the end

i also like both but [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is more original and very handsome. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] is a regal sounding name! I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m]. Here’s some other suggestions:

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Antonio[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Fernando[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_u]Wendell[/name_u]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Roberto[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Vincenzo[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Demetrius[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Beauregard[/name_m]

I’m realizing that I’m tending to go for longer, three or four syllable names when I make suggestions, I think because [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is one syllable and the last name is two.

I do like both names, but prefer the classic name [name_m]Luke[/name_m]. Timeless and strong.
