[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys,
We are thinking of the name Athan for our baby boy. I know its similiar to [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], but we like it. What do you guys think? What middle name goes good with Athan? Our last name has two syllables.
Thanks!

I know that it’s a short form of Athanasius, but I think most people are going to hear Athan and think you said [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. If that doesn’t bother you, use it!
Forgot to add a few middle name suggestions. I’m not sure what your style is though…

I don’t care for it
I like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] too, but Athan seems more unique to me. I think it’s a Greek name meaning eternal life.
Athan pronounced like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] without the n? Eh. Sounds like a nice name out of a pseudo-Scottish fantasy novel - not quite solid enough for real life.
Bump.
