I would name him [name_m]Charles[/name_m] so he has a formal first name. I personally do not like [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] at all and he might not either.

Because of the comment above, I’ll also add that personally, I don’t think you need [name_m]Charles[/name_m] as a full name if you don’t want it. I think [name_m]Charles[/name_m] is plain and overdone, while somehow [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] is still sweet and fresh. People name their kids [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_u]Percy[/name_u], [name_m]Archie[/name_m], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_u]Dash[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], etc. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] works fine as stand-alone name IMO.

I LOVE [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]! However, I don’t love [name_u]Drew[/name_u] with it as it seems a bit like two nicknames. What about [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]?

I feel you’re going to have to decide your style preference on this one as NB will likely come up with a mixed bag. I also feel that Charlie and Drew feel like two nicknames but personally I feel Drew is what makes Charlie shine. If you change one I’d vote change both Charles Andrew but Charlie Drew puts a bit of an unexpected twist on it that if that’s what you like Is keep it as is

[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_u]Drew[/name_u] is very friendly. It does, though, sound like a double barrel girl’s name to me; in my mind I say it in a southern accent: Charlie-Drew🙂
[name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is wonderful, though. [name_u]Or[/name_u] even [name_m]Charles[/name_m] Drew-- I’m a big fan of the nickname [name_u]Drew[/name_u].
i love charlie! not as big a fan of drew but it is cute with charlie.
