I don’t have any negative connotations. I think of [name_m]Derek[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] which is very much positive! It is pretty biblical, so it doesn’t work for someone like myself who wouldn’t get over that, but it sounds like it would for you. [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] doesn’t sound like how you described it. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is not heavily biblical to me since I know so many Michaels. My favourite based on sound alone is [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Nash[/name_m], but if [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is close to your heart you should use it.
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is my favorite. I like the combination of nontraditional and traditional. I don’t think it sounds like a shepherd named [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. I also don’t think it’s too biblical. I don’t even consider [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] biblical. It’s an occupation name.
I like the sound of [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Fisher[/name_m], but two occupational names is too much for me. [name_m]Nash[/name_m] has the repeated “sh” like [name_m]Fisher[/name_m], but it’s not my favorite. I prefer a two syllable middle name, I think.
I love [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], it’s a nice simple classic name that compliments [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] well. I don’t think anyone will think of the [name_m]Fox[/name_m] News anchor unless your last name is also [name_m]Smith[/name_m]. [name_m]Shep[/name_m] is adorable!
