I love [name_m]Collin[/name_m] but it’s too close to [name_f]Callie[/name_f]. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] is perfect!
They all go well with the siblings’ names. [name_f]Callie[/name_f] is adorable. Personally, I would assume little [name_u]Riley[/name_u] was a boy. I personally adore/love all your choices for the boy; in order [name_m]Colin[/name_m] (this spelling), [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], and [name_u]Drew[/name_u].
[name_m]Collin[/name_m] is too close to [name_f]Callie[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] & [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] & [name_u]Drew[/name_u] both sound adorable! The only thing with the latter is they could be b/b, g/g, b/g, or g/b… but I don’t think that’s a problem. I hear [name_u]Riley[/name_u] more for girls and [name_u]Drew[/name_u] more for boys anyway…
Since [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is a unisex name (and adorable on a girl), I would tend towards a more masculine boy twin name. Comparatively I think that a strong [name_u]Blue[/name_u] Name pushes [name_u]Riley[/name_u] more towards a [name_f]Pink[/name_f] Name.
Besides being one of my favourite names, I think [name_u]Drew[/name_u] is the strongest boy name. Additionally, I think it is nice when there is a subtle link in twin names. I like the ‘r’ repetition in [name_u]DRew[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u].
[name_m]Collin[/name_m] sounds like he should be [name_f]Callie[/name_f]'s twin to me, leaving [name_u]Riley[/name_u] out. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] are nice softer boy names and make each kid more of a stand alone, I suppose.
For me - [name_u]Drew[/name_u] all the way!
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]* I never even thought of [name_u]Drew[/name_u] as a unisex name… so maybe my logic is bunk.
You guys are the best! I’m leaning towards [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. Especially now that the [name_m]Collin[/name_m]/[name_f]Callie[/name_f] similarities have been pointed out. For some reason I hadn’t noticed how similar they are. And I agree that a strong boy name would be best to balance out a possible unisex name, even though I feel that [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is more of a girl than boy name.
I voted for [name_u]Owen[/name_u], but [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] is a close second:)
I love [name_m]Colin[/name_m] but agree it is too close to [name_f]Callie[/name_f]. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] is my first choice! [name_u]Drew[/name_u] would be my second.
Yeah if you want to stay away from unisex I would pick [name_u]Owen[/name_u] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] (even though NB has [name_u]Owen[/name_u] marked as unisex… has anyone ever met or heard of a girl named [name_u]Owen[/name_u]? Is this because of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]?) But I still love [name_u]Drew[/name_u] too.
I couldn’t decide between [name_m]Owen[/name_m] or [name_m]Drew[/name_m] so I chose both. But I do prefer [name_m]Owen[/name_m] a little more.
Never seen or met a girl [name_m]Owen[/name_m]. NB has some names marked as unisex and I have no idea why.
I love [name_u]Drew[/name_u] but I also really like it for a girl so with [name_u]Riley[/name_u] being a girl I think you need a clearly boy name. [name_m]Collin[/name_m] is nms so that leaves [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. Both are great names but [name_u]Owen[/name_u] wins in my book because I like the built in nn of “O”.
I like [name_u]Drew[/name_u]! That’s the name that got my vote.
Thanks I’m just sensitive cuz I have one.
I guess it says a celebrity used it for a daughter. We’ll see if it catches on.
[name_u]Drew[/name_u] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. I still vote for changing [name_u]Riley[/name_u] to something sweet and feminine like [name_f]Callie[/name_f].
I actually find it ridiculous that a name will be called a unisex name just because a handful of girls received the name. It’s still a boys name, in my opinion.
