I have 2 sons, [name]Corbin[/name] [name]John[/name] (3) & Carder [name]Jake[/name] (1). We just found out we are expecting another BOY! I am wanting another unique “C” name…so far it is a toss up between Cutter [name]Jase[/name] or [name]Cohen[/name]/Cowen [name]Jase[/name]…just wanting some thoughts or other “C” suggestions!! 
[name]Both[/name] Cutter and [name]Cohen[/name] have negative issues. Before the nautical and fashion associations, the first image of Cutter that I have is that of a person who repeatedly inflicts self-injury by cutting the skin in order to cope with negative emotions. [name]Cutler[/name] may be a better option. [name]Cohen[/name] is a sacred name to many religious Jews so it comes with a lot of baggage too. I would advise you to research the name [name]Cohen[/name] before deciding. You could spell it [name]Coen[/name].

Oh I am sorry to agree with the others, but Cutter is not a name that I think would be a good fit for your precious son. The other names suggested, as well as [name]Cohen[/name], are all good. I was unaware of the strong religious connotations of [name]Cohen[/name] though. And I do love the suggestion of the name [name]Cullen[/name]. A good fit with your 2 sons too! I certainly wouldn’t name my child Cutter being the self-harm ties I just think it’s in bad taste. But also if you aren’t Jewish I would avoid [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] as I’ve heard it’s seen as a sacred name in the Jewish community.
