Baby brother for Logan

Our son, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Moore[/name_m], is getting a baby sibling for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]!

We’ve agreed on girl’s names;
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m] or [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]

So far, the only boy’s names we’ve come -close- to agreeing on are:

[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]

I’m not sold on [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] and he’s not sold on [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] brother’s name is [name_u]Mason[/name_u] so [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] (often recommended with [name_u]Logan[/name_u]) is out for me.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] have come up, but I think they’re definitely below the first two for us.

Any suggestions?

I used to have [name_u]Logan[/name_u] on my list and always thought that [name_u]Micah[/name_u], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_u]Seth[/name_u], or [name_m]Mathias[/name_m] would make great siblings for him. I don’t really know why. I think it was because typically [name_u]Logan[/name_u] doesn’t get shortened and to me those names also do not get shortened.

[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] has similar sounds with [name_u]Logan[/name_u], so I wouldn’t use it. From your names I think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] go really well with [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. I was going to suggest [name_u]Micah[/name_u] at first, but [name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_m]Moore[/name_m] sounds very similar to Macklemoore.

I love [name_u]Seth[/name_u], though that’s my husband’s name and I don’t want to have to specify who I’m shouting for. :wink:

[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] has always topped my list but its been firmly and repeatedly vetoed by my husband. :frowning: (because it has ‘gay’ in it and he thinks its too feminine anyway)

I’ve loved [name_m]Henry[/name_m] this time around too, also vetoed. Still pushing for that one.

[name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_m]Graham[/name_m], and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] are also on my list but he’s… impossible.
