We have a 1.5 year old named [name_f]Flora[/name_f] Jo; we absolutely adore her name! Looking for name for baby brother!
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband has [name_u]Irish[/name_u] heritage (our last is very similar to McEgan and plays fiddle in his [name_u]Irish[/name_u] band). I am southern, thus the double barrel for [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u], and we live in [name_f]Alabama[/name_f]!
Sooooo we are STUCK on boys names for her brother. I love whimsical, vintage, and southern! And my husband wants it to jive with an [name_u]Irish[/name_u] last name. So that’s a long list of requirements!
Not truly requirements though, we are very open to lots of names! Any and all ideas for a brother for [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u]? Would love to know what y’all think sounds like a good pairing! Thank you!
Beau/Bo for middle would be a cute connection to [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] flip it and do something like [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Finnegan[/name_u] which I personally LOVE with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u].
[name_m]Cillian[/name_m] or [name_u]Killian[/name_u]
[name_u]Brody[/name_u], could have nickname [name_u]Bo[/name_u]!
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]!
[name_u]Layton[/name_u]
[name_m]Malachy[/name_m] or [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Ryland[/name_m]
Cormac
Rory (maybe not with Flora - close sounds - but if you wanted very matchy, you could add a hyphenated second to Rory)
Patrick
Finn (or a longer version of Finn)
Callum
Lorcan
Tiernan
Surnames as a first name are big in the south so what about an [name_u]Irish[/name_u] surname as a first name?
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u]
[name_u]Callahan[/name_u] “Cal” (Cal feels very cool guy/gentleman)
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] (this feels especially southern to me!)
[name_u]Hayes[/name_u] (southern gentleman)
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] “Rhett” isn’t [name_u]Irish[/name_u] but also feels southern gentleman to me
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] sound wonderful; southern, a bit vintage, definitely [name_u]Irish[/name_u]! [name_f]My[/name_f] family is southern as well and we have a lot of folks who go by their middle names so even [name_u]Grady[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] “Rhett” would check all your boxes as well. [name_u]Rhett[/name_u] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f]!
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] came to mind! I feel like it ticks most/all of your boxes
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]Clyde[/name_u]
Firstly [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] is fabulous and I love reading your question I had such brilliant imagery coming to mind so I really hope I can find a selection of names that meet the criteria!
Please count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
Tommy / Thomas Lee
Joshua James
Alfie James
Jack Wyatt
Beau Alexander

Emmett David / David Emmett
John Paul
Bohdi Rain
Billy Rex

I think another double barrel would be stunning. I was trying to focus on southern more than Irish since their has already been so many fun Irish suggestions!
