I’m pregnant with baby boy #2. We know this baby needs to have Wesley in the name as it’s my husband’s middle name. We’ve narrowed the first name down to a couple of names, but we like Graham and Ansel best.
We have Harrison and Eliza, so I think Graham fits best, however Graham Wesley does not sound that good to me… Wesley Graham sounds better, but I’d hate to have him go by his middle name instead. Does Ansel Wesley go together either?
Not sure if there are other names out there that we might use instead of maybe a different combination? Thanks.
I don’t think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] sounds bad at all, and I think it sounds better than [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] (though I love Ansel!).
I think Graham Wesley sounds better, but can I put the case forward for Wesley Graham and use Wesley? I know, I know, it’s meant to be an honour in second spot but it’s the coolest and has the most verve of the three imo; and complements the other two perfectly. Also, nicknames, I prefer Wes to Gram/Gray and Ans/Antsy. Wesley! I like Westley too if you’d rather an adaptation.

I don’t see any problem with [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]! It feels well-matched with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], too. I don’t love the combo [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] (too many “l” and “s” sounds) but there’s nothing wrong with that either.
I love [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]! I agree [name_m]Graham[/name_m] goes better with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] (Eliza and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is especially perfect!). I actually like [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] better than [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] - there’s a lot of E and L sounds in [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] Wesley… the transition from [name_m]Graham[/name_m] to [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is a little abrupt but not so much that it would keep me from using it. [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is super handsome!
