We found out we are expecting a boy after having 3 girls, yay! So the dilemma is I am not crazy about any names for him. It doesn’t help that my DH is super picky and on a different baby naming plane than I am. Our DDs are [name_f]Anaya[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f], and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] - we like vowel names. Our last name is 2 syllables and starts/ends with S. That being said I’d like something not too popular and dislike nicknames.
We have only narrowed it down to 2 names: [name_m]Abel[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. I like both ok but am not loving them. The reason behind the apprehension with [name_m]Abel[/name_m] is it is also a word and sounds odd with nearly every middle name to me. The issue I take with [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is that it is/has the potential to become super popular. What do you all think?
Both are great options! I don’t think anyone’s going to confuse the name [name_m]Abel[/name_m] with the word able, but here are some similar names you might like:
I love [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]…not sure if it will become mainstream popular as opposed to people talking about it on here. It’s a pretty different sound for people to take on.
