Baby due in one week and still lost for names!

Our first baby (gender unknown) is due in one week and hubby and I still cant agree on a name!! He is also very intent on keeping our names secret…so I’m asking strangers!

Girl:
[name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name] E…
Tevlin [name]Olive[/name] E…

Boy:
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name] E…
[name]Lennox[/name] [name]Anderson[/name] E…

I’m worried about “[name]Emmy[/name]” being too popular of a nickname and [name]Hudson[/name] being too popular in general. Let me know what you think of these options!

Thanks!

I like [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name]! I’ve never met anyone with either of those names… and only know one “[name]Emmy[/name]” who lives a thousand miles away! Good luck and congratulations!

I agree. [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name]! Not too popular at all. [name]Emma[/name] is popular but I dont know about [name]Emmy[/name]. [name]Emerson[/name] is much better than Tevlin imo!

[name]Hudson[/name] is not too popular either imo. I say use it. I first thought of the [name]Hudson[/name] [name]River[/name], but maybe that’s not a bad thing.

Congratulations! I hope everything goes well!

[name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name] would be my choice - [name]Emmy[/name] is not too popular. I usually hear “[name]Em[/name]” instead of [name]Emmy[/name]. [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name] is also nice. Or how about [name]Anderson[/name] [name]Grey[/name]?

Thanks! [name]Anderson[/name] is a choice for a first name too, but it is after my grandfather ("[name]Andy[/name]") so we’re still sort of thinking whether or not we want to directly name the baby after a family member. Trying not to hurt anyone’s feelings as we’re both from divorced families.
I love [name]Anderson[/name] and [name]Hudson[/name], too much ‘son’ for one name though!

Thanks for your help everyone! I’ve been having trouble with names, not being able to bounce them off anyone!

Edited

I love [name]Lennox[/name] for a boy!! I really dislike your girl’s names though. I don’t care for unisex names. Some alternatives:

[name]Emmeline[/name]
[name]Elle[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Thora[/name]
[name]Thalia[/name]

From your girls names I prefer [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name]. If you feel [name]Emmy[/name] is too popular a nn, [name]Merry[/name] could be another option?

I love both your boy names, both good options. I like [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name] slightly more - [name]Hudson[/name] is not popular where I am (UK).

I like [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name] alot, but I think Tevlin is unique and beautiful. Wondering where you came across it, and if it has special significance to you. If it does, then I would use Tevlin. But I tend to lean towards more unique names. [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name] is really lovely too.

[name]Both[/name] the boys names are nice, but I prefer [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. Strong, but also gives a nature and artsy vibe.

I absolutely love [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Anderson[/name]! So handsome. I want to like your girls’ names (especially because [name]Olive[/name] is the MN… what a gem!), but Tevlin sounds like Teflon as someone stated, and [name]Emerson[/name] is too masculine for me. I think [name]Emmy[/name] is lovely, though, and not too popular–I like the suggestions of [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Olive[/name]–[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Olive[/name] especially, mainly because [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] was my favorite girls’ name at one point. I think [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Anderson[/name] are stunning, actually!

Good luck!

Girl:
[name]Emerson[/name] [name]Olive[/name]-[name]Emerson[/name] is a boys name and not in the least feminine
Tevlin [name]Olive[/name]-if I am pronouncing it right I don’t care for it

Boy:
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Grey[/name]-great combo
[name]Lennox[/name] [name]Anderson[/name]-not my style
