Baby due in September. Suggestions please.

[name]Hi[/name] berries,

My husband and I are due our first baby in [name]September[/name]. We are really excited and have been discussung names for what seems like forever. Our surname is Jukes. We are happy with the boys names we have chosen which are [name]Rocco[/name] or [name]Xavier[/name] but are really struggling with girls names. He likes the names [name]Freya[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] which are nice names but very popular at the moment. I like the names [name]Roxie[/name], [name]Lola[/name], [name]Imani[/name], [name]India[/name], [name]Saffron[/name], [name]Zadie[/name] and [name]Jasmin[/name] (which we cannot use as it the name of my mothers dog!). Please help by suggesting names you think we might like to we can find some thing pretty and a little spunky.
Thank you in advance.

Great boys’ names! And congrats on expecting : D!

If you like [name]Roxie[/name] maybe you can win your husband over with [name]Roxana[/name] to make it a little more formal/feminine? [name]Just[/name] beware if you like [name]Rocco[/name] and plan more children: I think a [name]Roxie[/name]/[name]Roxana[/name] and a [name]Rocco[/name] is a bit much. [name]Roxie[/name]/[name]Roxana[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] however, is awesome for having the X’s without being too much.

[name]Lola[/name] can be a nn for [name]Charlotte[/name] which seems more his style? Or [name]Louise[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name], [name]Eloise[/name]/[name]Elodie[/name]? Some of those are a little bit less common (I think, that is – I suspect we’re writing from different parts of the Anglosphere) for your sake, but still somewhat grounded for him.

[name]Zadie[/name] - could be a nickname for [name]Zara[/name], which again might be more different for you but still girlish enough for him.

[name]Jessamy[/name] - alludes to [name]Jasmine[/name] and is spunky, but has more familiar [name]Jess[/name] or [name]Jessa[/name] for him.

[name]India[/name] - maybe some other place names would do it for him? [name]Georgia[/name]? I also think [name]India[/name] has more tradition than he might realize and maybe that would help.

Best wishes!

I like [name]Lola[/name] & [name]Roxie[/name]. Here are a few other suggestions…
