I love your names! [name]Finch[/name] and [name]Fleet[/name] are super cute!!! I’ll have to come back to you with suggestions though, you have, as you say, a pretty eclectic naming style…
I’m expecting in [name]March[/name] as well, I’m not even near to finding a name… pretty impressed by you!
I love the nautical/speedy associations of [name]Fleet[/name]-- but, as you doubtless know, it’s a famous enema.
Given that your first son’s middles are [name]David[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] and your second son is [name]Dexter[/name], are there any other family names in the running that you feel you’d like to use?

I am aware of [name]Fleet[/name] enemas. I don’t know yet how much that matters to me because all I think of is ships.
As for the girl middle suggestions, they are very interesting but a little too odd for my taste. I like quirkiness and sugary names that are a little less serious.
I think my favorite from your list is [name]Jubilee[/name] though, which was once in the running for first.
For [name]Fleet[/name], same idea-- you’d need at least two syllables.

Ahh!! @shanbrownie I think my heart fluttered when I saw [name]Finch[/name] Firefly. So cute.
And [name]Finch[/name] [name]Delilah[/name] has been on my list but I was never quite sure about it. Also, [name]Finch[/name] [name]Lavender[/name]!
[name]Fleet[/name] [name]Oswald[/name]!!! Adorable. And hubby says he kinda likes it too!!!
Aww you’re so welcome! Brainstorming for you was so fun! Loving your fearless and funky taste in names. [name]Fleet[/name] [name]Oswald[/name] IS adorable and I had a feeling you’d like [name]Finch[/name] Firefly?!
[name]Finch[/name] Firefly is way cool! Well, maybe a little much, but you use something like [name]Finch[/name] Firefly [name]Claire[/name] and you could have a winner…
[name]Finch[/name] is tough because it seems like she should have a vowel middle (e.g., [name]Finch[/name] [name]Amandine[/name]), but I’m struggling to find one to your taste! [name]Finch[/name] [name]Amaryllis[/name] is cool, though, too…
[name]Fleet[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] sprung to mind, though [name]Fleet[/name] [name]Oswald[/name] is adorable. What’s the balance between first son’s classic middles and second son’s wordy-wow middle? That’s your debate, I’m sure.
@lemon, well I named [name]Pilot[/name] and we couldn’t decide which grandpa to use for middle. So we used both. Out second (unexpected) boy came 18 months later. We couldn’t agree on anything!! He wanted [name]Oscar[/name], I wanted a name more like [name]Pilot[/name]. Finally I agreed that we could use [name]Dexter[/name] I said I get to pick the middle, hence [name]Audio[/name]. Now that he sees the amount of positive attention [name]Pilot[/name]'s name gets compared to [name]Dexter[/name]'s, I pretty much have free range with this baby.
I do like the balance of name-word or word-name. So [name]Finch[/name] Firefly is feeling like a bit much to me. I’d be willing to use Firefly with another name if it was perfect!!
