[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! My boyfriend and I are expecting in [name_u]June[/name_u]. We have decided on the first name [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] if we have a girl but we have no clue what to use for a middle name. My mothers name is [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] and his mothers name is [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] so if anyone has a cute mashup for that it would be great.
Also, my boyfriends last name is [name_m]Yaw[/name_m]. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] _____ [name_m]Yaw[/name_m]
Heres some names we really like but do not sound right with [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], at least to us, or do not want to use as a middle name.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
Maybe [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Tess[/name_f]? I’m not sure how to include [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] though…[name_f]Kyla[/name_f] would be a smoosh of [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] and [name_f]Teresa[/name_f], but it doesn’t go with [name_f]Gemma[/name_f].
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] sounds cute but that leaves out the other mother.
Perhaps [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] K.T. [name_m]Yaw[/name_m] or [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Katie[/name_f]/[name_f]Kadie[/name_f] [name_m]Yaw[/name_m].
[name_f]Kyla[/name_f] is a nice mash up, I can’t even think of any others. But yes, [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Kyla[/name_f] doesn’t exactly sound great.
Maybe [name_f]Kyla[/name_f] [name_f]Jewel[/name_f] instead? If you want to use both names. If not I agree with previous post that [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] is very cute.
Can I just commend you on your name choice. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is a beautiful name.
Is there a way to mix the names? It might not be a real name but it will be appropriate to you. What about your moms middle names? [name_f]Do[/name_f] they have one?
I think the suggestion of [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Katie[/name_f] is really cute and a great way to incorporate both mother’s names without being too literal.
If you’re not opposed to using a “boy” name perhaps [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] or [name_m]Kyler[/name_m]. [name_f]Tyra[/name_f], [name_f]Kyra[/name_f], [name_f]Cressa[/name_f], [name_f]Carissa[/name_f] also came to mind, but the repeating -a endings isn’t ideal. I do like [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] though.
Kysa? Kyte (taking first two letters), [name_f]Lesa[/name_f] (like [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], taking Last two letters), Keres (like [name_f]Cerys[/name_f])? Can’t think of a mashup which is a ‘normal’ name but I’ll keep thinking!
I love the sound of [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Terese[/name_f]. I can’t really think of any mash-ups of [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] and [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] that haven’t already been suggested(though I think [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] is by far the best), but since [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] and [name_m]Yaw[/name_m] only have three syllables together, I think you could have two middle names and still not feel like her name was ridiculously long.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] [name_f]Terese[/name_f] [name_m]Yaw[/name_m] actually seems very pretty. You could also save one grandmother’s name for any future children, if you plan on having them. Or consider using their middle names as part of a mash-up or second middle if you can’t come to an agreement.
