We have two daughters, [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. We love surname/boyish names for our girls. We went with more girly middle names. I really love both of their names and am finding it hard to choose another girl name that I love just as much. We have some options but reservations with each of them.
[name_m]Palmer[/name_m]- We really love this name. I guess we’re worried that it might be too out there. Does it fit on an adult woman? There aren’t really any nickname possibilities and I’m really into nicknames. I think it fits well with her sisters though. [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], and [name_m]Palmer[/name_m].
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]- We also love this name. It is funny because I loved it when we were naming the first two but my husband always vetoed it. This time around, he likes it, go figure. It doesn’t really fit with our naming style, it is so girly [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]- No real reservations with this name except that some close friends considered it for their daughter. They didn’t go with it, but I don’t want them to think we “stole” it from them. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Gem[/name_f].
As for middle names, we don’t really have any yet. I would love to honor my grandmother, [name_f]Imogene[/name_f]. I would use the whole name but not sure if I could get on board with just “jean”. Although, [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] seems a little heavy in the middle spot with both [name_m]Palmer[/name_m] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] seems a little country to me.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a favorite from our current three? Any name suggestions based our list? Any middle name suggestions? Thank you in advance!!
