Baby girl Davis

[name]Hi[/name] all. I’m expecting my second in [name]October[/name] (a girl) and have narrowed the list to those below. Our last name is [name]Davis[/name]. In my family we traditionally give daughters two middle names. I would like to use at least one family name for one of the middles. Additional suggestions are very welcome  Big brother is [name]Nathanial[/name] [name]Barnaby[/name].

Family names: [name]Anne[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Agatha[/name], [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Diane[/name] (or [name]Diana[/name]) and [name]Caroline[/name]

[name]Agatha[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would possibly call her [name]Aggie[/name])
[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (could we call her [name]Birdie[/name] or is that a stretch?)
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Celeste[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (I know [name]Isabel[/name] is very popular, but I do love it)
[name]Colette[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Diane[/name]
[name]Eugenia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would call her [name]Poppy[/name])
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

you have some very pretty names. My favorites are…

[name]Agatha[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: very pretty, love [name]Aggie[/name]
I like [name]Eleanor[/name] but I don’t think it goes with the other names. Maybe
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Mae[/name]?
[name]Colette[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Diane[/name] is also beautiful!
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is also very pretty  I like the nickname [name]Pippa[/name] though.
hope I helped some!

I like [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Anne[/name]!!! It flows really well!

Of course my fave is [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] [name]Jane[/name] since I am a huge fan of [name]Celeste[/name]! [name]Love[/name] the two middles as well. When you use a popular name such as [name]Isabel[/name] for a middle name, I think it shows that you really love the name for itself rather than that you want to be like everyone else. [name]Isabel[/name] is a lovely name.

Thanks to all! I like the suggestion of [name]Pippa[/name] as nickname! [name]Susan[/name], thank your for reassuring me on [name]Isabel[/name] It has been a favorite name since I was a little ! My next question: Is [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Davis[/name] a mouthful?

Oh, yeah, [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Davis[/name]… The “este” sound in [name]Celeste[/name] mixed with the “vis” sound in [name]Davis[/name] are fighting with each other [name]IMO[/name]. I will look at your list now and see if something else sounds better. I have the same problem with [name]Celeste[/name] and [name]Cecily[/name] - they don’t go with my last name either.
I love [name]Philippa[/name] nn [name]Pippa[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], and [name]Eleanor[/name] with your last name. Let me know if you want me to come up with some more similar names.

[name]Nora[/name] is an adorable name! [name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] is beautiful!

Family names: [name]Anne[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Agatha[/name], [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Diane[/name] (or [name]Diana[/name]) and [name]Caroline[/name]

[name]Agatha[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would possibly call her [name]Aggie[/name]): I really love [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name], but am personally not an [name]Agatha[/name] fan. I think the combo flows nicely, though!

[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (could we call her [name]Birdie[/name] or is that a stretch?): [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Diane[/name] flows well, but it spells BAD, which may or may not be an issue for you.

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]: I love all three names.

[name]Celeste[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (I know [name]Isabel[/name] is very popular, but I do love it): I wouldn’t worry about [name]Isabel[/name] in the middle, but as you already mentioned (I think), [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Davis[/name] isn’t the best combo.

[name]Colette[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Diane[/name]: I really love this one, and think [name]Colette[/name] is so fresh. [name]Love[/name] it!

[name]Eugenia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Felicity[/name], but I’m not a [name]Eugenia[/name] fan…

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: I really love this combo…

[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would call her [name]Poppy[/name]): I think this is great, and definitely has more spunk than [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Anne[/name]: I love [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Anne[/name], but think other combinations you have flow better. ([name]Lydia[/name] followed by [name]Agatha[/name] doesn’t flow to me, because one ends in an a and the other begins with an a, requiring a pause between the two. The same goes for [name]Agatha[/name] and [name]Anne[/name].)

[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name]: I [name]LOVE[/name] this one! This gets my vote…

[name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Diana[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (to replace the [name]Celeste[/name] combo)

I love your [name]Colette[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Eleanor[/name] combos… Good luck!

My faves are…

[name]Agatha[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Eugenia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Phillipa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

You have lots of great choices, you really can’t go wrong! Also, if you really love [name]Celeste[/name] (one of my favorites) maybe you could use it as the first middle, so it’s separated from [name]Davis[/name]? Something like [name]Phillipa[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]?

I vote for [name]Colette[/name]…I just adore it! And the nn [name]Lettie[/name] is great!
[name]Lydia[/name] comes in second with [name]Nora[/name] right behind that

My faves of the moment with [name]Davis[/name] are:

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] - love!
[name]Colette[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Diane[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would call her [name]Poppy[/name])
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - love, and I really love [name]Dianna[/name] as a middle name!

I [name]LOVE[/name]:

[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] - favorite!
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

If you changed [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Diane[/name] to [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Jane[/name] it would be completely flawless!

I’m looking to incorporate [name]Jane[/name] as a middle name too. I like your three-name combos a lot!

[name]Agatha[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – [name]Lovely[/name], perfect.
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (we would call her [name]Poppy[/name]) – Darling! I love [name]Poppy[/name].
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] – Classic and lovely.
[name]Eugenia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – Great! I love [name]Eugenia[/name].

I like [name]Eugenia[/name] & [name]Agatha[/name] as a sibset too

[name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Diane[/name] (could we call her [name]Birdie[/name] or is that a stretch?) like the nn [name]Birdie[/name] but don’t like the flow of [name]BeatrICE[/name] [name]DavIS[/name] in the first, last flow.

[name]Celeste[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – Cel-ESTE Dav-IS flow issue again.

[name]Colette[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Diane[/name] – this works but I’d prefer a different mn, [name]Colette[/name] [name]Philippa[/name] [name]Diane[/name]?

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – a bit too plain. [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Jane[/name]?

[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Anne[/name] – not as lovely as your others. [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Anne[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Diane[/name]?
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – ditto.

I love the names [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Beatrice[/name]. I think [name]Birdie[/name] is a great nickname as is [name]Poppy[/name]. I do not think I would use [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Diana[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Davis[/name], the flow doesn’t quite work. What about [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Anne[/name] [name]Davis[/name]?
