Baby girl due any day help!!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], baby number 3 is set to join her two brothers any day now. They are named [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m] [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. We can not find any names that we love and I’m soooo dissapointed about this.
Our shortlist is [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] (ez-mee)
That is pretty much it and we would both only give those about 6/10. My reservation with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is I’m not a fan of the bella nickname and my reservation with [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is it feels very modern and people may pronounce it wrong.
My husband really likes [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (lulu/luey) and possibly [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] and [name_f]Pheobe[/name_f] but unfortunately we can’t agree.
Really hoping you could come up with some opinions on these names and suggest some others, would ideally love something that’s not too popular (in the uk)
Thankyou xxx

First off, congrats on number three!

As for the names,
Phoebe is very cute. Bethany is alright.
Esme is beautiful, although like you said, the pronunciation may be an issue.
Louisa is also cute, and Lulu and Luey are okay. I much prefer Lou, but that’s all up to you.
Arabella is okay, as I’m not fond of the Bella nickname either.
Sofia and Sienna are good too, but how are you pronouncing Sienna? (SEE-ann-uh?)
With Hugo and Myles, I think Phoebe sounds the best, at least to me.

Some other names that I like with Hugo and Myles are:
Amelia
Claire

Any middle names that you already have planned? If not, what about:
Grace
Faye/Fay

Edit: I just realized how f-heavy Phoebe Fay/Faye is, haha. Phoebe doesn’t sound all that great with Fay/Faye.

Best of luck with your names!

Thanks for your response!
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is the number 1 most popular name in [name_f]England[/name_f] so I really wouldn’t want that and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is not to my taste but thanks for the suggestions
I forgot to add that our surname is 4 letters and 1 syllable and starts with R

Personally, my favorites from your list are [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].

As far as other names go, how about [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Myles[/name_m], and …

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]/[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]/[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is perfect! [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] comes to mind as well.

It sounds like you haven’t found “the name” yet, based off your lists. While they are all good names, and with the exception of [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] would all go well with [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m], maybe you want some other suggestions?

[name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Myles[/name_m], and…

[name_f]Frances[/name_f]

[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]

I really like the way [name_m]Myles[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] sounds as a sibset.

I used the namehunter, it always gives great suggestions I think, at least to start off with! Sorry for any repeats!

I also like your choices of Arabella, Esme, Louisa and Phoebe. I’m not sure but is Esme becoming well known enough now that people will know how to pronounce it?

I suggest the name Adelena.

I love [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. Though you are correct to be concerned about the pronunciation of [name_f]Esme[/name_f] being potentially problematic, as I have always heard it pronounced Ez-may as opposed to ez-mee.

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is very pretty, but frillier than your other options.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] or [name_f]Zara[/name_f]? [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]/[name_f]Aminta[/name_f]?

I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] best from your original list.

Other suggestions:

Middle name suggestions:
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]

[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]

Good luck!

[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]? Similar to your husbands [name_f]Sienna[/name_f].

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Mirabella[/name_f]?
I just love those names! [name_f]Mira[/name_f] would be a more appropriate nickname than [name_f]Bella[/name_f].

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] your sons names! Also like you and your husbands name choices for your daughter, though [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] not as much as the others. You might consider preference somewhat based on sound of names with the last name… I suppose you already are…since I don’t know yours, but I see you’re in UK… my very favorite that I never got to use since I have three boys. Goes well with your son’s names… also feminine & very unique…
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] means joyful & happy, with beautiful biblical meaning too if that’s important to you.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] you love it as much as I always have… Maybe I could have a granddaughter or dog with that name. Lol
All the best to you and your family☺”

My two favourites from your list with [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m] are [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f].

[name_f]Annabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]
[name_f]Christabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabella[/name_f]
Rosabella
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Clarabella[/name_f]

[name_f]Esme[/name_f] is one of my favourite names although I would spell it Esmée as I prefer the Ez-[name_f]May[/name_f] pronunciation also being from the Uk I understand your hesitation with [name_f]Esme[/name_f] due to mispronounciation as there are 2 valid options also it is now no 37 (:-() and increasing in popularity.
I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and it goes well with [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m], I know you said you don’t like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] but how about [name_f]Clara[/name_f], I think it is very sweet with [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Myles[/name_m] or how about [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]? it has the bel sound but I feel [name_f]Ama[/name_f] is a more intuitive nickname for it.

Other names on my list that you may like? (No pressure though!)
