[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I’ve been viewing this site for many months to find our little girl a name but have finally hit a brick wall!
Any help with suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I prefer tradition names and old fashioned sweet names. But am open to any suggestions.
To give you an idea of what names we like so far The most are:
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]!! Actually like a few of the combinations - [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]!
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] would be my first pick, followed by [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
it’s really nice to hear people like the names, had a lot of negative feedback from family and friends. I’d defiantly advice to not ask loved ones opinions! Not always a help.
Giinkies [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is a lovely name however it’s a very popular name where we live so that went out the window!
Thank you very much it’s given me a lot more confidence in the names hopefully i’ll stop being so indecisive!
I think [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is adorable - how about [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]? [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is really cute
[name_f]Florrie[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], and [name_f]Nola[/name_f] are my favorites.
I really like [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nola[/name_f] together, but I like [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] more than [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f], and [name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is kind of awkward to say.
So I guess [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]!
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] are fantastic! I think [name_f]Nola[/name_f] is adorable for a little girl and strong with just a touch of whimsy for a woman [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is beautiful and, as was aforementioned, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is so cute! And loved ones are not the best helpers at all. My family got a hold of my phone, where all of my name lists are, and they made a [name_m]Saturday[/name_m] night out of laughing hysterically at nearly all of them. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] has been an absolute favorite of mine, along with many others similar in style to [name_f]Margo[/name_f], and they HATED it! so I know how you feel,
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Nola[/name_f]! [name_f]Nola[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] I like also. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] works as does [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f].
You could use both MN because they are one-syllable-ed and short - [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. Or [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f].
Here are a few older names I like:
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] (nn: [name_f]Nolie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maggie[/name_f])
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Marlena[/name_f]
I’m loving “old lady” names these days (too bad we’re having a boy, haha) a few that I love that might be along the same lines- [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?
