First, Congrats on your beautiful baby girl!

Also, I love the combo [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Brynn[/name]!!! [name]Brynn[/name] is just better as a middle name to me. I also like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Brynn[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name].

Good luck!

[name]Brynn[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] is my choice. I think a short name works well with your 2 syllable LN.

Thanks. I also like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], but don’t know if hubby’s sold on it. I do like the other combos you put together, but I really want to use either [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Adelaide[/name] as a MN after family and to fit with the sibset.

That was my choice too, but my mother and husband like [name]Brynn[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. I like the syllables better with [name]Adelaide[/name] 1-3-2. I guess it depends if you say [name]Vi[/name]-let or [name]Vi[/name]-o-let though!

I voted for [name]Briony[/name] [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]! I think [name]Briony[/name] is adorable for you–[name]Briony[/name] is just adorable and oh-so-girly and lovely, and you could still use the nn [name]Brin[/name]/[name]Bryn[/name]/[name]Brynn[/name] if you like. I would do [name]Bryony[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]/[name]Briony[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], though, since [name]Briony[/name] is also a flower/plant name. I guess that doesn’t bother you for [name]Briony[/name] [name]Violet[/name]?

I’m just a sucker for [name]Violet[/name], though, so I had to vote for [name]Violet[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]! I think it’s very sweet next to [name]Mckenna[/name], [name]Barrett[/name], and [name]Cadence[/name].

I do like [name]Arden[/name] a lot, and considered it to honor my grandmother (whose name is quite similar), and then I met this man whose name was [name]Ardan[/name]. He was a total jerk, and when I accidentally said his name as “AR-den” he freaked out and was like, “IT’S ar-DANNNNNN!” lol. I can’t really think of [name]Arden[/name] without thinking of him. I do think it’s a very sweet, nature-sounding name. I would love to meet one. [name]Arden[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is lovely, and I think it goes great with your other children! I feel your pain about the 2-2 syllable thing, though–I have the same problem since my LN is 2 syllables, as well.

Good luck!

I chose the combos below because I think these names are the best “fit” with [name]Mckenna[/name], [name]Barrett[/name] and [name]Cadence[/name].

1 [name]Brynn[/name] [name]Violet[/name] - Very pretty. I like the way this combo sounds and looks.
2 [name]Brynn[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] - The majestic [name]Adelaide[/name] and the more youthful [name]Brynn[/name] make a good pair!
3 [name]Arden[/name] [name]Violet[/name] - [name]Arden[/name] is unisex but I’ve always felt that the soft sound was more suited for a female.

I didn’t even realize [name]Briony[/name] was a plant name, lol. I go more for the sound of a name than the meaning I guess. I got the name from the movie Atonement (mentioned under [name]Bryony[/name]). I actually prefer the ‘y’ spelling but hubby doesn’t. I was surprised that Nameberry says [name]Bryony[/name] is pronounced “[name]Brian[/name] with an ee” when the alternate spelling of [name]Briony[/name] says “[name]Bree[/name]-o-nee” which I prefer. I wonder if people would say “Bry-a-nee”? In the movie I recall it more like “[name]Bree[/name]-uh-nee” which is how I want to say it, but that was a few years ago. I like [name]Briony[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] too, but I wondered if it was too much of a mouthful with the 3-3-2 syllables.

I love [name]Violet[/name]. I wish it wasn’t a celebrity baby name. Of course I just found out yesterday that so is [name]Brynn[/name]. :stuck_out_tongue:

Funny how someone can ruin a name for you! We’ve had that with a few names too. My mother knows a male [name]Arden[/name]/[name]Ardan[/name] so she is not a fan.

I think [name]Arden[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is one of the most beautiful names I’ve ever heard. It’s okay if they think it sounds like a boy’s name. [name]Brynn[/name] is okay, but [name]Arden[/name] has such a lovely sound and meaning, and the ‘forest’ theme goes beautifully with [name]Violet[/name], another favorite name but getting a bit popular.

[name]Arden[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is the newest addition to my list. Hubby doesn’t like it as much but is sick of me not deciding so he may go for pretty much anything at this point!

I love [name]Violet[/name] for a first name, but the popularity makes me question using it. But then I can find something wrong with each name. :stuck_out_tongue:

I asked family/close friends for suggestions. DHs family has suggested [name]Cassandra[/name], [name]Samantha[/name], [name]Kirsten[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name]. While [name]Beatrice[/name] has crossed my list because it was my grandmother’s name, the others seem so at odds with my other kids names…it’s as if they don’t know my taste at all! Or maybe they just don’t like it, lol.

I thought [name]Briony[/name] was pn [name]Bree[/name]-oh-nee, which I think is adorable and close to [name]Bridey[/name], a personal fave

Old thread, but we settled on [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] about 6 hours after she was born. Now we need to come up with a name for baby no. 5.
