After a lot of lists and narrowing down we have decided on two names, [name]Francesca[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name]. We are having trouble deciding on which we prefer as well as a middle name. My personal favorite is [name]Francesca[/name]… She could go by [name]Francie[/name] as a possible nn.

I have a soft spot for the name [name]Victoria[/name] so I have to choose that one as my fav (too bad I couldn’t get DH on board with it). [name]Francesca[/name] is much less common though, if that’s imporant to you. [name]Noelle[/name] complements [name]Victoria[/name] so well with it’s softer sound.
I think [name]Victoria[/name] really works. I know two - one sometimes goes by [name]Vicky[/name], the other by [name]Tori[/name]. I think a nn like [name]Vi[/name] or [name]Vivi[/name] is adorable as well. I think it is a really strong, stately name, with spunky nickname potential. [name]Francesca[/name] is nice in full, but the nn [name]Fran[/name] really puts me off – but perhaps that doesn’t bother you.
I agree with pp that [name]Noelle[/name] is the perfect middle name for [name]Victoria[/name], especially given the time of year!
I love [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]!! Beautiful. If I had to give a second choice, I agree that [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is very pretty, and I like the nn [name]Tori[/name]. But I prefer [name]Francesca[/name]!
I agree with @saraallison’s choices. I like [name]Francesca[/name] over [name]Victoria[/name] because it is less common. I also love the nn [name]Frankie[/name] over any of [name]Victoria[/name]'s nns. I like [name]Madeleine[/name] over your over middle name choices because it’s softer sounds balance the harder sounds in [name]Francesca[/name]. I like [name]Noelle[/name] with [name]Victoria[/name] for the same reason.
I can’t stand [name]Francesca[/name]… sorry! I think [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] are gorgeous!

I personally prefer [name]Victoria[/name] because I’m not a fan of any of the [name]Francesca[/name] nicknames. I also just find [name]Victoria[/name] to be a strong, regal name. I love [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]. If you go with [name]Francesca[/name], I think [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] is the best because of the contrast between the soft and harder name, like some people previously said. [name]Both[/name] names are nice though so you really can’t go wrong, I just prefer [name]Victoria[/name] of the two.

I like both names, but I prefer [name]Victoria[/name]. If you really can’t choose, maybe you can decide when you see her. My favorite combinations are [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Jasmine[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name].
I think the pp had the right idea - wait until you meet her. [name]Francesca[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] are beautiful names, and you will know which one is right when you meet your little one!
