[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all. Tried the BabyNameGenie website but didn’t get very far, no one truly helpful.
We like the following name for our baby girl who joins brother [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]!
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Callie[/name_f]’ [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Callie[/name_f]’ [name_f]Grace[/name_f] (too popular perhaps)
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Callie[/name_f]’ [name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Callie[/name_f]’ [name_f]Fay/name_f
[name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_f]Fay/name_f
[name_u]Madison[/name_u] …
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] in my opinion is becoming more popular as a first and middle name… but what else goes with [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and/or [name_u]Madison[/name_u]!? More set on [name_u]Madison[/name_u] as it would honour my dear Grandmother and DH’s Mom!
Thank you all
[name_u]Lisa[/name_u]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u] is lovely - ‘[name_u]Grey[/name_u]’ is very ‘faddy’, so quite likely to date. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are also very popular.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]? It’s likely to be her birth month and it’s simple and classic. [name_f]Maddy[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
I would choose [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_f]Fay[/name_f].
The middle names sound so classy with the first names.
Nicknames, I prefer [name_f]Callie[/name_f] over [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]
Because [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is so popular, I love the idea of it after a more offbeat name like [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]. [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is a strong, timeless name.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] I like, but they do feel more trendy as middle names; I wonder if [name_f]Grace[/name_f] will become this generation’s [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] or [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. [name_f]Fay/name_f is less trendy right now and more distinctive. [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] would be lovely.
Great suggestion of [name_u]June[/name_u]! I like it after both [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u].
Other ideas for the middle:
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] – similar in style to [name_u]Harper[/name_u], but less popular
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] – classic and slightly less popular; love [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Paige[/name_f] – like this after [name_u]Madison[/name_u]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] – [name_u]June[/name_u]'s birthstone; [name_u]Madison[/name_u] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is sweet!
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] – feels a little like [name_u]Grey[/name_u] to me, but possibly less trendy? [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
I love [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]! Not a big fan of [name_u]Harper[/name_u] though, it’s become insanely popular and may become a bit dated in the future.
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Faye[/name_f]/[name_f]Fae[/name_f] would be a great choice I think (I don’t have a preference for the spelling on this one). I also really like the above suggestion of [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. It’s really up to you though–middle names are a good spot to be creative and use something that’s meaningful to you.
