Baby girl due in June

We recently found out our baby is a little girl, and she is due in [name_u]June[/name_u]. We are not going to settle on her name until we meet her but we are working on our short list. Currently we have three favorites:

  1. [name_f]Norah[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (husbands favorite)
  2. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (my favorite, but I worry that with her being due in [name_u]June[/name_u] that this is a little to on the nose?
  3. [name_u]Devin[/name_u] (new to our list, but we both agree a wonderful name with a beautiful meaning)

I posted a few weeks ago before we knew the gender, and it feels like our list and favorites always change. So I’m hoping over the next six months we can really think about these three options without wavering. I guess I am scared that we will continuously change our minds and never develop a bond with a name. Either way, I always appreciate everyone’s thoughts and opinions on our lists, so thank you for the help! Which is our favorite, and how do you feel about a baby due in [name_u]June[/name_u] given the name [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]?

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] would be adorable! I think it’s just fine to give the name [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] to a [name_u]June[/name_u] baby  It’s a cute name. I do like that [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is classic and might age better than [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].

You have three really solid and good choices.

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is soft but strong, sweet but mature. It has character but it’s familiar too

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is sweet, bubbly and fresh. I wouldn’t personally worry about it being used in [name_u]June[/name_u]. It doesnt seem cheesy

[name_u]Devin[/name_u] is interesting and I never knew the meaning before but it definitely gives it a really strong appeal! I like the quirky sounds too.

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Devin[/name_u] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Devin[/name_u] would be my top choices

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is very sweet and I like [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] too! I think a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] born in [name_u]June[/name_u] would be fine. I quite like [name_u]Devin[/name_u] too, she’s spunky but sweet!

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is my favorite! I never would have made the [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]-[name_u]June[/name_u] connection, and even then it’s more sweet than cheesy. I think of the plant when I hear [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], not the month. Plus there are so many Augusts and [name_f]May[/name_f]/[name_m]Maes[/name_m] born in those months and no one bats an eye!
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Devin[/name_u] is such a spunky combo. I don’t personally love [name_u]Devin[/name_u] as a first name, it seems pretty dated to me. And [name_f]Nora[/name_f]'s pretty but lacks the character and individuality of [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]

I think the same as @emmievis

Have you considered [name_f]Nina[/name_f]? It’s pretty similar to [name_f]Nora[/name_f] but has a little more spring in its step similar to [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]

My personal favorite is [name_u]Devin[/name_u]! [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is my second favorite. I definitely used to find it too cutesy but it’s been growing on me. I don’t think it’s a problem that she will be born in [name_u]June[/name_u], unless you plan on using the nn [name_u]June[/name_u] exclusively. Personally not a fan of [name_f]Nora[/name_f]/h. Despite it’s popularity, it’s not for me.

I love your lists of names! And I don’t think it’s weird naming your daughter [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]/[name_u]June[/name_u], since she’s due in [name_u]June[/name_u], I would think it was weird naming her [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] if she wasn’t born in [name_u]June[/name_u].

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_u]Devin[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u](possible nickname could be DJ)
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_u]Devin[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u]

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is definitely my favourite! Such a pretty, spunky name and with great nicknames! And I don’t think it’s a problem at all that she’ll be born in [name_u]June[/name_u].

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is great! Timeless and sophisticated, but I can still picture a bubbly little girl. This is probably my first choice, but [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is a close second. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is more fresh and bubbly, and I don’t think being born in [name_u]June[/name_u] is an issue at all. In fact, I think it’s a lovely connection. [name_u]Devin[/name_u] is my least favourite, it seems more masculine than spunky to me, sorry!

[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is my favourite and I don’t think it’s a problem if she’s born in [name_u]June[/name_u].

Another vote for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]!

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is very cute. I think I like [name_u]Devin[/name_u] the most from your list though. [name_u]Devin[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_u]Devin[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] would be nice.

Congratulations and it’s okay to take your time and think about different options. That’s part of the fun of baby naming !

I like [name_f]Nora/name_f - spelled either way. [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is so trendy and [name_u]Devin[/name_u] is all boy to me.
