I’m in the eastern U.S. and have never met an [name_f]Isla[/name_f].

I am also in the Eastern US and have never met an [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. And I mean quite a few kids. I’ve met countless Emersons and Quinns of both genders. Also I find [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] choppy, with being single syllable names.

I’m in the northeast US and have never met an [name_f]Isla[/name_f] of any age. [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is a lot more common and I’ve heard it used for plenty of girls. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] feels too insubstantial to me - we just had friends use it for their infant daughter and I found it a bit lackluster. They went with [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and I agree with pp that two single syllables feels choppy. Instead of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], maybe [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]?

I personally [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but maybe you can keep all 3 names in mind and decide after you meet your baby girl? Try saying the names out loud while snuggling her in your arms and decide then which one suits her best. I don’t know about the UK but here in the US you have some time after the birth before you need to fill up the birth certificate.

I love [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I live in the midwest and have met a couple young little [name_f]Isla[/name_f]'s, but not many.

My vote is for [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]!

[name_f]Isla[/name_f] is pretty, just not my taste. [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is okay but despite your efforts she will probably get called [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] a fair few times…

All three are gorgeous but [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] gets my vote :slight_smile:
