I would rather be [name_f]Serafina[/name_f]/[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] than [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. I really love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], but it feels very descriptive with [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], and I don’t know how I’d feel about being literally “pink moon” in Spanish, which is commonly spoken where I live. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] is also beautiful, but too feels a little wordy, though not as literal.

That being said, I vote for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] because I think it’s slightly more familiar to English speakers, which I am, but I think it really depends on what’s more common around you. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] names all around!

I far prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] to [name_f]Serafina[/name_f]

[name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] got my vote. It’s lovely, and as [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] is both a family name, and the one you prefer, it makes most sense for you to use her up front. Also, [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] does sound and flow a lot better than [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] (which does make me also think ‘pink moon’…)

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is stunning

Okay, thank you everyone for your opinions. My husband added these to our list:

[name_f]Abriana[/name_f]

[name_u]Sierra[/name_u] (?)

[name_f]Natalia[/name_f]

[name_f]Lilia[/name_f]

[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] (?)

[name_f]Gianna/name_f

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] (?)

[name_f]Julieta[/name_f]

[name_f]Alexia[/name_f] (?)

[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f]

[name_f]Liliana[/name_f]/[name_f]Lilliana[/name_f]

[name_f]Clara[/name_f]

[name_f]Noemi[/name_f] (?)

[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
([name_u]Baby[/name_u] is due in 4 days now!!)

I think [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is pretty, but [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] has the FN/LN is a bit rhyme-y and descriptive. I think [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] flows much better. As for [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] vs [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - totally up to you! In your post you wrote with an F every time, so seems to me that that way is your preference - so go with that! [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is very pretty  If you don’t love [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] as much as [name_f]Serafina[/name_f], I’d just cross it off.

Of your original options, I voted for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]…while I love the name [name_f]Luna[/name_f], two two-syllable names both ending in a (which is how your daughter will be referred to most of the time) didn’t work as well to my ear as a fn w/more syllables. I prefer the ph spelling of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], but that’s just me.

Of the names your husband just added, I’d eliminate the two-syllable names for the same reason as [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. If [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] is a family name, would it work as a middle name? Maybe (my three favorites from the new list as the first name):

[name_f]Julieta[/name_f] [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexia[/name_f] [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f] [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]

Good luck & please let us know what you decide!

I voted for [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], but I also like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. I like all of these names really except for the combos [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] [name_f]Celestina[/name_f] combos, as it’s just a little too rhymey for me.

I will however play devil’s advocate and say I think “pink moon” sweet. I’ve heard people say “once in a pink moon” instead of blue, so to me it’s kind of an indirect way of saying “special” or rare.

I love [name_f]Luna[/name_f], but I agree that with our surname it sounds a bit too descriptive, so we have officially ruled it out. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] is due in two days, so at this point her first name will probably be [name_f]Serafina[/name_f]. However, we are still thinking about [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], or [name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] as a middle name. [name_m]Will[/name_m] create a second poll for that.
