[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are due with our 3rd child a baby girl early [name_u]December[/name_u]
I think we have it narrowed down to 2 names.
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
OR
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (calling her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f])
We are using [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as a middle name as it is a combination of both our Mother’s middle names
I am torn. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband prefers [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. Everyone I ask really seems opposed to the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] though, and thinks [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is the better option.
We have a son [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m] and a daughter [name_f]Myka[/name_f]. I am not sure if that matters or not
Thanks for your help. Any insight is greatly appreciated!!!
Personally I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! But I do like the other spelling Maizy but that’s just me. I do like the whole [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] though I think it’s so gorgeous and sweet.
I don’t like the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] though.
What did you think of my Opinion?
I do like the whole flow of [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] better too. Your opinion seems to be the general consensus people have when comparing the names. Thanks for your input.
I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. For some reason I love [name_f]Melodie[/name_f], but I’m not such a big fan of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], it just slightly reminds me of elegy. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is brilliant!
I would definitely go with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. It’s sounds so pretty. And I think [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is a little nickname that won’t be cute when she’s 35.
I much prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] to Maise, especially with [name_f]Myka[/name_f]. However, I don’t like the flow of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. So if you’re absolutely set on [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as the middles, I’d go with [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
Definitely [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! Not a fan of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] at all.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f], definitely. It sounds more sophisticated and ages much better than [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], imo. However, I think [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] flows much better than [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. Nevertheless, I’d still go with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is a gorgeous name. I agree that [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] sounds more sophisticated than [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is very nicknamey to me.
Thanks everyone. We have also considered [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is a family name too. Naming little people is so hard! It’s nice to hear that some people like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. It seems everyone I run it by thinks its a terrible name. At the end of the day I know its our decision but it’s nice to know we aren’t the only one’s who think its a pretty name.
I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] better than [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] flows better with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and would usually pick that, but [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is kind of a tongue twister, the names are too similar. I can understand why you want to use those middle names, but unless you change them I would go with [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and [name_f]Myka[/name_f] are really cute together, so is [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Myka[/name_f] and [name_m]Jaxon[/name_m].
I much prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but like the flow of [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] better.
