Hello Ladies!
So I have done done posts to find a name for my little girl. We have had a long journey with three boys: [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_u]Zion[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. Names to me and my husband mean so much, all of our other children’s names are very special to us. We are currently stuck on 4 names. [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], (pronounced sai-russ) [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. I understand that these names may not be for everyone, but please leave your opinions on the three names and any suggestions that may work.
If this helps our last name is [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].
Thankyou xx
They would all go nicely with the last name which is great and I really do like …
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]
I can see why it is difficult to choose as any one of the three names above would be a lovely choice. Following three boys I would eliminate [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] as it is very masculine so I think your daughter would like a more feminine name. Seeing [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] on paper, I would assume that you have four boys.
I love [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and it goes beautifully with your boys’ names.
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is fine, but feels a little serious alongside [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Zion[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m].
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] has the spunky nickname [name_u]Rory[/name_u], but I’m not sure if it is too close/tongue tie-y with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] when said aloud; they both share a strong R sound.
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is 100% masculine to me, but that’s just my opinion.
You might like: [name_u]Cyan[/name_u] - sigh-anne
Or [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] - cass-ee-uh
My favourite is [name_f]Nova[/name_f], as someone said above, [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is too traditional next to your other names, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] has the nickname [name_f]Rorie[/name_f], which sounds similar to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], and [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is masculine alongside her brothers. I have 2 brothers, and my name is masculine, and people assume we are three boys.
Also I love the name [name_f]Nova[/name_f] so that automatically gets my vote lol
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] - Sweet but I think it’s very faddy and won’t age well. It’s a teen mum name to me…
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] - On the fence on this one. It seems a little cold compared to your other name choices.
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] - This is my favourite of the group, because it’s more classic but not overly common. I think you could come up with a cute nickname for it.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - Hmm - Sleeping Beauty, one of the lamest Disney princesses, so I’m not a huge fan of this name!
I love [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. They are pretty but strong- they make me think of the stars. [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is also very nice- it has musical quality to it. I like the name [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] but I’ve only ever heard it as a boys’ name and it may cause some confusion. I’d rate them:
