Hello everyone,
I’m due my third little girl in [name_f]September[/name_f] and we are feeling stuck on her name! My elder daughters are [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] and I’m not sure whether to follow on with A names or go for something different in case she feels left out! I’d like it to sound like it fits in even if it’s a name with a different letter.
I like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ([name_u]Lexi[/name_u] would be a nn) and I think it would be [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] for a middle name whatever we choose.
I also like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] although I’m not sure it really goes with the girls names.
Does anyone have any suggestions that could help?
Thank you so much!
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] are lovely!!
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] are lovely together and I like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] too

I really like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] with your girl names.
I would stick with an A name so she doesn’t feel left out. I love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as a middle, how about…

[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is really lovely with your daughters names. Two would begin with “A” and two would end in “e/ee,” if you want to look at it that way.
In my family, two of our names started with the same letter (not on a purpose at all, the second was a namesake for a relative who had just died) and the third had a different first letter. It was never an issue.
I like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] for you too, but [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is my favorite.
While I do think [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] fits well with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] sounds weird to me. I also think it’d be nice to follow the A theme, but obviously if you prefer a different name you should go with that.
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f]

[name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], & [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] would all go nicely with your sibset

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I don’t know that you have to continue w/the ‘A’ theme. If you find a name that you really love that doesn’t start w/an ‘A’, you may regret not using it. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], for example, (so pretty!) fits really well style wise in my opinion. [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] would be quite nice too. I don’t care much for [name_u]Lexi[/name_u], but it’s okay.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
If this os your last baby, she may feel left out without an A name, but you can still use other similar names thst shouldn’t make such a huge difference hete are some more a names that may go: [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], [name_f]Alanna[/name_f], [name_f]Ariane[/name_f]. Here are similar names that sound like they’re three of a kind: [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Sara[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f], [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f], or [name_f]Holly[/name_f]!
I think it depends on if you want more children. If you do, do you have more A names in mind? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you care if a boy had a different initial and only the girls had A?
If it were me, I’d probably pick another A name, because there are a million A names and it wouldn’t necessarily tie me to a style, just a letter ([name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] are both gorgeous, btw).
You could also go for something stylistically similar (like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]) but that’s more subjective; some people (your children included) might find [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] wildly different. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is a bit more modern to the ear than [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f], but overall I think they sound nice together.
Some A names:
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Adaline[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_f]April[/name_f]
[name_f]Acacia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adina[/name_f]
[name_f]Arizona[/name_f]
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_u]Andrea[/name_u]
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Audra[/name_f]
And style:
[name_u]Chelsea[/name_u]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
I don’t think you have to continue the A initial - two doesn’t scream theme to me at all and I feel like only after three would it feel like an intentionally themed sibset.
I really like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and the middle name of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. However, I do find [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] & [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] to be quite repetitive and perhaps a little too similar for sisters (though if [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] (potentially) goes by ‘[name_f]Ally[/name_f]’ and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Lexi[/name_u]’ I suppose it wouldn’t seem so similar at all). Also, [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] doesn’t exactly have the best flow, however it does look and generally feel quite nice. [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is very nice, too, though it’s often shortened to [name_u]Abby[/name_u], so that makes me wonder if [name_u]Abby[/name_u] & [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] are then too similar in sound…?
I’m just picking really; dissecting. All of these names are nice options and would work well with your [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f].
Thank you for all your responses, some really good points and it’s giving me some things to think about I hadn’t considered!
