Baby girl name suggestions (PLEASE)

Hey, all!

My husband really likes the name, [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. The big issue I am having with it is that I just KNOW people will end up calling her [name_f]Bella[/name_f], which I hate. I am trying to find one that is similar, [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is a very feminine name which is what I wanted in the first place. I just am not feeling it 100%.

So if anyone has any suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate it

(My husband and I have very different taste in names lol some names I thought were pretty were [name_f]Abrielle[/name_f] ([name_f]Aubree[/name_f]-elle)
[name_f]Adalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (probably my favorite)
Nore
[name_f]Mauve[/name_f] (may-v)

I really like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (this spelling, or Maev), [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and [name_f]Noor[/name_f] (this spelling).

What about [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], [name_f]Annora[/name_f]/[name_f]Honora[/name_f] or [name_f]Honoria[/name_f] with the nickname ‘Nore’?

Similar-ish to [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]: [name_u]Ellery[/name_u], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], Elisenda, [name_f]Elenoa[/name_f], Loelia

Maybe…
[name_f]Idalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Atarah[/name_f]/[name_f]Atara[/name_f]
[name_u]Adair[/name_u], Dare
[name_f]Corisande[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeliza[/name_f], Adelasia
Dianora

I like [name_f]Annora[/name_f]! I have also always like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] but I have a friend and her little girl’s name is [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].[name_f]Leonora[/name_f] is really pretty too

Oh those are all really nice suggestions! So far I am liking [name_f]Adelina[/name_f], Anestasia (which is my great aunts name but they call her [name_f]Stacia[/name_f] anyway), and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is ADORABLE to me. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] was one of my first suggestions but my husband absolutely hates it lol

My ideas were [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], which I see have been suggested, and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. Would you like [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] or [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] or [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]? Apologies for the repeats.

Not a problem for the repeats! [name_m]Just[/name_m] means they must be really cute  and I do think [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] are pretty! My mother and I decided we both must just like names that end in “A” lol

I’m glad you like [name_f]Annora[/name_f]. You can read a bit about it here (if medieval history interests you!): Baby Name of the Day: Annora - Appellation Mountain

Too bad you can’t use fabulous [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], and I agree, [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] is so pretty and underused. It reminds me of the artist [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] Carrington.

A few more ideas:
[name_f]Elettra[/name_f]
[name_f]Loretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Althea[/name_f]
Isamaya
[name_f]Giselda[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenella[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]

[name_f]Elianna[/name_f] or [name_f]Arianna[/name_f] are as flowery as [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], but without the “belle”.

[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is nice as well.

Good luck!
