If you are insisting on the [name]Alivia[/name] spelling, I would have to go with [name]Kayla[/name]. Although [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds nicer than [name]Kayla[/name] [name]Jane[/name], I just can’t vote for that spelling.

Good luck!

I would say [name]Olivia[/name], but I can’t stand [name]Alivia[/name]. So [name]Kayla[/name] gets my vote.

I voted for [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. It flows beautifully but I hate the spelling.

[name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds much better then [name]Kayla[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. I don’t care for the spelling though. But since your mind can’t be changed, just go with it if you love it.

I think it is wise to choose a name with a different letter- that way when mail arrives to Miss A LN you know who it belongs to easily.

I like [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and I like the “A” spelling! I had [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] on my list for a while. I’ve heard people pronounce [name]Olivia[/name] with an “OH” sound at the beginning and I don’t like that at all so I used an A too. I know different spellings aren’t everybody’s thing but I don’t see why one letter makes people hate the name. It sounds the same. Unless you use say “oh-livia” I also like Aubrielle and [name]Alivia[/name] together. Super cute sisters!

Consider mine not a vote for [name]Alivia[/name], but a vote against [name]Kayla[/name].

[name]Kayla[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

I prefer [name]Kayla[/name]. Not a fan of two A girl names and not a fan of alternate spellings.

I voted for [name]Kayla[/name].

Because [name]Alivia[/name] just looks misspelled to me. Why not go with [name]Olivia[/name]? Because it is pronounced the same right?!

[name]Kayla[/name], [name]Alivia[/name] will have a super popular name spelled in a weird way. She’ll still be “[name]Alivia[/name] S.” or whatever, so [name]Kayla[/name] get’s my vote.

I prefer [name]Kayla[/name], simply because I’m not a fan of [name]Alivia[/name]. It just looks wrong to me.

I voted for [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]…Like most of the other posters I don’t really like the spelling…but that depends on how you want it pronounced, when I see [name]Alivia[/name] I say A-[name]Livia[/name] like the a sound in apple, but when I see [name]Olivia[/name] I say Oh-[name]Livia[/name].
However, you said we are voting on the sound not the spelling and that’s fine, I’m not going to change my vote because I don’t like the A. I think [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds lovely and it is completely up to you how you spell your own childs name!
All the best,
[name]Polly[/name]

I voted for [name]Alivia[/name]. Like all the others, I do prefer [name]Olivia[/name] (obviously, as you can see in my signature), but I think [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] flows better than [name]Kayla[/name] [name]Jane[/name] does, and [name]Kayla[/name] is starting to feel dated to me. Most of the Kaylas I know are closer to my age. My only concern is that Aubrielle and [name]Alivia[/name] will both start with the same letter–does this matter to you? I don’t know if you’re planning on having other children, and will feel like you have to stick with another “A” name…

Good luck!

Only voted for [name]Kayla[/name] since the [name]Alivia[/name] spelling is so terrible.

Well, if I follow your instructions and just vote on which one sounds better, then [name]Alivia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] gets my vote.

[name]Kayla[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
But only because the [name]Alivia[/name] spelling is so awful. She would have a lifetime of correcting people on the spelling. At least with [name]Kayla[/name] people know how to spell it.

Plus to me Alivia and Olivia are not the same name. I would pronounce Alivia Ah-livia whereas Olivia would be pronounced Oh-livia.

I actually like the [name]Alivia[/name] spelling, mainly because I have several family member with [name]Al[/name] names ([name]Alvin[/name], [name]Albert[/name]) and it seems like a modern way to honor them.
I agree that I would pronounce [name]Alivia[/name] slightly differently, but I think that’s a positive rather than a negative.

Wouldn’t bother responding to this one. According to the thread that she posted this morning, she’s not pregnant Nameberry - Welcome to the Nameberry Forums

Looks like we have a troll.

On the bright side, now no one is in danger of being named [name]Alivia[/name].
