Baby Girl Names - 3 boys and now a GIRL

We love names like [name]Claire[/name], [name]Elaine[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], what are some other possibilities? We just feel like we haven’t thought of every possibility and we could be missing the perfect name.

Brothers names:

[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]

Thanks
[name]Amy[/name]

I really like [name]Claire[/name]. [name]Elaine[/name] is a little dated for me and [name]Sophia[/name] is too popular. Here are some names I think will go great with [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Isaac[/name],and [name]Charles[/name].

[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Jillian[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name]
[name]Bridget[/name]
[name]Maya[/name]
[name]Savannah[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name]
[name]Mallory[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Mia[/name]
[name]Annabelle[/name]
[name]Laura[/name]/ [name]Laurel[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Anna[/name]
[name]Ella[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]

Some ideas that come to mind:

[name]Lorraine[/name]
[name]Aloisa[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Cecilia[/name]
[name]Alessia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Lucille[/name]

Good luck!

I really like [name]Elaine[/name] from your list.

[name]Calvin[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Charles[/name] &

[name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Cressida[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Louise[/name]

Although I like the name, I would not use [name]Claire[/name] because that leaves [name]Isaac[/name] out as the only non-C name. [name]Sophie[/name] is awfully popular, so I would probably go with [name]Elaine[/name], however I like [name]Ellen[/name], [name]Elena[/name], or [name]Helen[/name]/[name]Helena[/name] better. Some other possibilities:

[name]Calvin[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Charles[/name], and

[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Anne[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name] ([name]Audrey[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is a lovely combination too!)
[name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Dorothy[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Esme[/name]
[name]Esther[/name]
[name]Felice[/name]/[name]Felicia[/name]/[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Flora[/name]
[name]Frances[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Grace[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Laura[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Mary[/name]
[name]Maud[/name]
[name]Naomi[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]

I would avoid a name that begins with C as it would leave poor [name]Isaac[/name] out.

In fact, I’d use a name that begins with I:

[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Iris[/name]

Or perhaps, like [name]Isaac[/name] it should end with a C:

[name]Lilac[/name]
[name]Lyric[/name]

I really like these for you:
[name]Anastasia[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Moira[/name]
[name]Pippa[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name]

I thought of [name]Charlotte[/name] but that’s the feminine form of [name]Charles[/name].

[name]Claire[/name] and [name]Elaine[/name] are great! [name]Sophia[/name] is beautiful, but so popular these days, if that’s means anything to you. Names that could work with your boys’ names:

[name]One[/name] syllable:
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Grace[/name]
[name]Anne[/name]
[name]Ruth[/name]

Two syllables:
[name]Anna[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Leah[/name]
[name]Elise[/name]

Three syllables:
[name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Adrienne[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Helena[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Hilary[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Gillian[/name]
[name]Naomi[/name]

[name]Elaine[/name] isn’t a very popular name at the moment, but it still is very pretty. I have a soft spot for [name]Lainie[/name] as a nickname. [name]Elaine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is charming and a bit unexpected. I love [name]Iris[/name], but think it is too matchy
with [name]Isaac[/name], while [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Charles[/name] have very different starting sounds.

Most of you thought of [name]Isaac[/name] as the only non-C name too. We did not plan on having or even liking all C names. In fact I almost didn’t do [name]Charles[/name] just because it was another C…my husband’s name is [name]Clint[/name] and my brother in laws are [name]Clay[/name] and [name]Kevin[/name] (not a C but still that sound) - we were trying to stay away from it but we keep coming back to [name]Claire[/name]. Would love to find an I name to go with [name]Isaac[/name] and we thought of [name]Iana[/name] (pronounced E-ana) but not sure how that would go over with our Southern family and Southern drawls

I would use [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. I love [name]Josephine[/name] with the brothers names. I wouldn’t use [name]Claire[/name] as a formal first name because of [name]Isaac[/name]. I have the same issues with A names now, even though I love them!

We have also considered [name]Isabelle[/name] but we were going to use [name]Elizabeth[/name] as a middle name after his mom but [name]Isabelle[/name] is a form of [name]Elizabeth[/name] - not going to give her the same name twice! Does [name]Isabelle[/name] Dearmin work? This would be his mom’s maiden name for a middle name?

 I agree…though [name]Claire[/name] is very pretty, it leaves [name]Isaac[/name] left out.

[name]Isabelle[/name] is very pretty and would complement the I name and the [name]Isa[/name]…beginning in spelling even for your son [name]Isaac[/name].

Hmmm…your [name]MIL[/name]'s maiden name doesn’t flow as easily for a mn I think… What is her fn or mn?

[name]Isabelle[/name] would be a sweet name to pair with your [name]Issac[/name] and balance the sibset. [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

[name]Edith[/name] “[name]Edie[/name]”
[name]Rosamund[/name] “[name]Romy[/name]”
[name]Judith[/name] “[name]Jody[/name]” or “[name]Jude[/name]”
[name]Antonia[/name], [name]Anthea[/name]
[name]Frieda[/name]
[name]Viola[/name], [name]Violaine[/name], [name]Virginia[/name]
[name]Bridget[/name], [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Delphine[/name] “[name]Delphi[/name]”
[name]Sabine[/name]
[name]Isabetta[/name], [name]Isannah[/name]
