  • Carleigh : 10 (10%)
  • Calliope : 26 (25%)
  • Carlisle: 2 (2%)

[name]Delilah[/name] followed by [name]Calliope[/name]. The others aren’t girls names as far as I’m concerned.

[name]Delilah[/name] is the prettiest to me and has the most promising nickname possibilities.
[name]Calliope[/name] is my second choice, it’s cute, though she’ll get mispronunciations all the time, I suspect.
[name]Carleigh[/name] feels dated.
[name]Carlisle[/name], I can’t see on a little girl.

I voted for [name]Carlisle[/name]. I love it, but we love right next to a town with the same name so we could never use it, and I would love to see someone else with use it!

I love [name]Calliope[/name]!!

I voted [name]Delilah[/name] but I also like [name]Carly[/name], spelled this way.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Delilah[/name] nn [name]Lilah[/name]? I think that’s adorable and would age well ^^

[name]Delilah[/name] first and [name]Calliope[/name] second, don’t like the others at all, sorry, especially [name]Carleigh[/name] which sounds like a stripper’s name.

[name]Delilah[/name] is lovely!

[name]Calliope[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] are both wonderful choices. I voted [name]Calliope[/name] as it seems that bit fresher and more unexpected, but I honestly love both. [name]Calliope[/name] nn [name]Calla[/name]/[name]Callie[/name] or [name]Delilah[/name] nn [name]Lilah[/name]/[name]Della[/name] - both would be gorgeous!

[name]Carleigh[/name], especially spelled this way, seems dated and trendy to me. Not a fan sorry. [name]Carly[/name] is such a name of generation (I’m 26) in fact it was a name my mum considered for me. [name]Carlisle[/name] is interesting, and I certainly don’t hate it, but it’s far more unisex and not so much my style. As far as unisex names go, it’s not a bad one, except that it does remind me of [name]Carly[/name] also.

If you don’t have a middle name picked out, [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Carlisle[/name] would be a very cool combo, or [name]Calliope[/name] [name]Lilah[/name].

Best of luck and congrats!

Thanks so much everyone! We have eliminated [name]Carlisle[/name] and [name]Carleigh[/name] (I’m not a big fan of [name]Carleigh[/name], but I threw it in their because my husband is fixated on it). I think we are getting close to a decision. It is just so hard to choose!

I love [name]Delilah[/name], as she has beautiful nicknames: [name]Lilah[/name] or [name]Lily[/name], if that helps.

1 [name]Calliope[/name]
2 [name]Delilah[/name]

The other two choices either sound too “dated” ([name]Carleigh[/name]) or too masculine ([name]Carlisle[/name]).

[name]Delilah[/name] is lovely. I’ve only met one, a woman in her 40s. I just don’t have the guts to use it, my family would have a conniption.

[name]Calliope[/name] just doesn’t sound pretty. Have you seen the [name]Cinderella[/name] movie with [name]Whitney[/name] [name]Houston[/name] and [name]Brandy[/name]? [name]Brandy[/name]'s/[name]Cinderella[/name]'s stepsisters are named [name]Calliope[/name] and [name]Minerva[/name]. They weren’t awful but I just remember the shrill way the stepmother ([name]Bernadette[/name] Peters) said their names

I would go with [name]Calliope[/name]. It’s such a pretty name with a great meaning and history. It’s legitimate, but unusual. Approachable, but unique and fresh.

[name]Carleigh[/name] is very 80’s baby, and [name]Delilah’s[/name] day in the sun is coming to an end. [name]Carlisle[/name] is very harsh sounding to my ears.

[name]Calliope[/name] is so fun and pretty. Its definitely the best one! [name]Delilah[/name] is pretty too, but I think it still carries a weighty biblical stereotype.

I would have voted for [name]Carly[/name] or [name]Carlie[/name], but [name]Carleigh[/name] is terrible, sorry.

I voted for [name]Delilah[/name]. I used to hate the name because of that song. A friend of mine named his little girl this, and she is adorable! Made me think of the name differently. [name]Carlisle[/name] is way too masculine [name]IMO[/name] and [name]Calliope[/name] is ok. I just worry about pronunciation. I think I pronounced it wrong for a while!

I always wanted my name to be [name]Delilah[/name]!

I love the name [name]Calliope[/name] but I take issue with the way most people pronounce it. The proper Greek pronunciation is ca-lee-OH-pee. Unless you plan to pronounce it this way, my vote is for [name]Delilah[/name].
