Of your choices, I feel that [name]Nalani[/name] [name]Faith[/name] - or maybe [name]Nalani[/name] [name]Hope[/name] - would make the best sibset with [name]Adalyn[/name] and [name]Makena[/name].
I really really like [name]Sydney[/name] [name]Faith[/name].
Did you know your great-grandma [name]Marion[/name] very well? I ask because I know someone who gave their son the same middle name as their grandfather and now they regret it. The middle name was a cool name, so it was a good way to use a neat name while “honoring” the family, but it was such a vague connection that it didn’t mean much to them and they wish they had given him one of the more significant family names even if they sound a little dated or something. (to be fair, they didn’t know that the people wearing those names wouldn’t have the correct gender of child to pass it on to). [name]Marion[/name] isn’t my favorite name ever, but if I really loved a [name]Marion[/name] in my life, I could see using it. Otherwise, I would go a different direction.
[name]Nalani[/name] has a distinct Hawaiian sound that is pretty unusual and cool if you have a connection to [name]Hawaii[/name].
[name]Nalani[/name] is beautiful, but the definition nameberry gives is a little off. Its more like the heavens. It might mean calm of the heavens, but I don’t know how accurate that is.
[name]Sydney[/name] [name]Faith[/name]- I feel like [name]Sydney[/name] is a bit 90s for a girl.
[name]Marion[/name] [name]Hope[/name]- [name]Love[/name] [name]Marion[/name]. So classy and French sounding. It sounds great with your other kids names. However, if you’re just using it to honor your great grandmother but you don’t truly love it, I would rather see you use it in the middle name spot.
[name]Sadie[/name]- I know too many dogs named [name]Sadie[/name].
[name]Nalani[/name] [name]Faith[/name]- Interesting name but I don’t think it goes well with your other kids names. It sticks out too much. What about [name]Naomi[/name]?
I love [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Hope[/name], it fits the cuteness level that your other girls have. I have never liked the name [name]Sydney[/name], I knew one who went by [name]Sid[/name], and it killed it for me.
Yes I was very close to my Grandmother. She passed away this summer leaving a legacy one hopes to leave, which is why we like [name]Marion[/name] [name]Hope[/name]. We chose not to do the [name]Marian[/name] spelling simply because her Aunt is [name]Mary[/name] An and we thought people would confuse the two. We realize that [name]Marion[/name] is a bit more conservative and “old fashioned”, but given the significance of it, we are considering it.
My wife is Filipino which isn’t exactly Hawaiian, but we do like the “island flare” names for lack of a better description.
This name comes and goes in my “like it or not”. I do not like [name]Sid[/name] so we will have to consider that.
I totally agree. We wont use something unless we love it and it “fits”.
I think this is super cute, but I also know many dogs with this name. Not sure that would be a deciding factor tho.
This name is a random find for us. Sort of like how we found [name]Adalyn[/name] for the oldest child. This one is really growing on me and the more I say it, the more I like it. I am curious what you mean by “sticks out too much”?
