[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from the list is [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. It’s beautiful and has plenty of great nicknames.

If you like [name_f]Karina[/name_f] and [name_f]Kara[/name_f] I’ll also suggest Kerensa/Kerenza!

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] is by far my favorite from your list. I think [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Witherspoon helped with the female association of that name, and I think it is adorable for a girl yet sufficiently suitable for a grown woman.

[name_f]Ava[/name_f] is a name I like despite its popularity, though it is very popular. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is so classic and timeless to me - she’s a great option especially in the first name spot because she tends to be a “filler” these days as a middle.

When reading your list, the first thing that came to mind was “what about Laurel?”. [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] is a more modern take on [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] to me, and she feels a little softer. [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] would be so sweet!

[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] - I love it but I’m not sold
Use it if you love it, but I feel like this name will sound dated. More of a mom name than a baby name.

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - too little girl sounding?
I don‘t think this sounds childish, but it is popular if that bothers you. I like both [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]!

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] - not girly enough?
“Girly” is not a qualifier I care about. I think [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is a great unisex name.

[name_f]Lauren[/name_f] - my husband loves it but I’m not sold
Same as [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u], though I do prefer [name_f]Lauren[/name_f].

[name_u]Mallory[/name_u]- it means unlucky and I don’t know if I can get past that.
Sounds like you should cut this one. I can take it or leave it.

[name_f]Ava[/name_f]- too common?
Popular, but for a reason! I love the name [name_f]Ava[/name_f].

[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]- too common?
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is more timeless than trendy, in my opinion. I like it.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]- pretty or eh?
Not my style. I like the nickname [name_f]Gena[/name_f] though.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f]- too common?
This one is a little boring to me, but I like the meaning/value of [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]- too little girl sounding?
I like [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] as a nickname, but would want it to have a longer, formal name.

[name_f]Karina[/name_f]- too much of a mouthful?
Not my style, but nothing wrong with it.

[name_f]Kara[/name_f]- grandma’s name is [name_f]Karen[/name_f] so are the too similar?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like your grandma? Lol. It could be a good honor name.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f].

I’ve ranked the names from 1-10, 1 being my personal favourite and 10 being my least favourite.

  1. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]: [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] is cute! I prefer the [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] spelling as a nickname and [name_f]Emmi[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmie[/name_f] as a full name, though.

  2. [name_u]Reese[/name_u]: if you are looking for something “girly”, this is probably not it, but I don’t think “girly” matters that much. [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is a lovely name.

  3. [name_u]Mallory[/name_u]: I love the sound of [name_u]Mallory[/name_u], but I agree that the meaning is not great. how about something similar sounding, like [name_f]Melanie[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], [name_f]Valerie[/name_f], or [name_f]Ellory[/name_f]?

  4. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: I quite like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]! I wouldn’t call it “too pretty”. it has so many nickname options, though, if you are worried that it’s a bit too much (I like [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], and Viv/Vivi).

  5. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]: it’s pretty; I personally prefer the [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] spelling. I don’t think it sounds too young and it has plenty of nickname options, too (e.g. [name_f]Soph[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Fifi[/name_f], Phia/Fia, [name_f]Pia[/name_f], etc)

  6. [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] to [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u], but it still feels a bit dated to me.

  7. [name_f]Kara[/name_f]: I don’t think [name_f]Kara[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Karen[/name_f], but it would make a nice honour name!

  8. [name_f]Grace[/name_f]: I agree with @whammy. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is quite boring and overdone, but it does have a lovely meaning.

  9. [name_f]Ava[/name_f]: I much prefer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] to [name_f]Ava[/name_f] - [name_f]Ava[/name_f] is too overdone where I’m from. but, it is sweet, so if you don’t mind its popularity, I think it’s a good choice.

  10. [name_f]Karina[/name_f]: I definitely don’t think Karina’s too much of a mouthful. again, I personally feel that it’s dated.

  11. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]: same as [name_f]Ava[/name_f], I’m personally not a fan; I don’t how it sounds.

  12. [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u]: personally, I’m not a fan. to me, it sounds dated (very 80s/90s) and not ready to come back.

[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] - I like it. It might be kind of dated but it’s still a great name.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - sweet and international. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] ages really well in my opinion.
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is one of those names for me that is perfectly gender
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]- I really like [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] but it might be a little dated as well. Still a great name tho!
[name_u]Mallory[/name_u]- I have never personally liked this name.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]- very common but if that doesn’t bother you then go for it. It’s a really pretty, simple name with a little bit of spunk too it.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]- I wouldn’t say [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is necessarily common nowadays but it’s a name that’s very well known.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]- I don’t care for it personally.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]- I would say [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is overused as a middle name but I think it would be pretty refreshing as a first name, especially since the nn [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] is to die for.
[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]- it’s a cute “nickname name” but I feel like since it’s being used more and more that in the future it won’t be odd for an adult woman to be named [name_f]Emmy[/name_f].
[name_f]Karina[/name_f]- I don’t think this is a mouth full.
[name_f]Kara[/name_f]- [name_f]Kara[/name_f] is really pretty. And if you don’t want any family names used whatsoever then I think [name_f]Kara[/name_f] is too close, but maybe the [name_f]Cara[/name_f] spelling could separate that thought a little bit.

I like all of the names you’ve picked, most of them are just too common in my opinion. I’d go with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_f]Karina[/name_f], or [name_f]Kara[/name_f] since they feel more unique and special. :sparkling_heart:

[name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_u]Kendall[/name_u]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u]: it’s nice, although I prefer [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]: no it isn’t!
[name_u]Reese[/name_u]: I don’t really hear [name_u]Reese[/name_u] on boys nowadays so it should be fine
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]: another nice one
[name_u]Mallory[/name_u]: hm, nms
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]: maybe? but it’s pretty
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]: I don’t think it’s SUPER common but I could be wrong
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: pretty, but I’m not sure whether they’ll have problems with pronunciation in your area
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: no, I don’t think it’s common!
[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]: I think it can work on an adult as well
[name_f]Karina[/name_f]: no, it isn’t a mouthful
[name_f]Kara[/name_f]: maybe? but it isn’t bad

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] are so lovely. [name_f]Kara[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and [name_f]Karina[/name_f] are nice too

You might like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], [name_u]Ellery[/name_u], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Cerise[/name_f]

Wow I love your style!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites on your list are [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f].

The others are fine too. I think the spelling [name_f]Emme[/name_f] makes the name grow up a bit.

[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], [name_u]Mallory[/name_u], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] all feel very from the 90s. I grew up with a lot of people named these and I feel like they’re more “mom names” now than names for little babies now.

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are too common for my liking. They’re very overused and I feel like I know tons of girls of all ages with these names.

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] I like! I think it’s fun and not overdone.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is pretty! Could be difficult for a little kid to learn to spell though.
[name_f]Karina[/name_f] is also pretty! It could easily get confused for [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] though because that was how I read it at first glance.
[name_f]Kara[/name_f] I don’t think is too similar to [name_f]Karen[/name_f]. I think it’s a nice name!

Thank you all for you opinions and thoughts! If our daughter is named [name_u]Reese[/name_u] what would be a good name that goes with [name_u]Reese[/name_u] for a girl? Thanks!

This list is stunning and no wrong answers here. I kinda of love the [name_u]Mallory[/name_u], [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] , [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and [name_f]Kara[/name_f] names. They feel very 80/90’s and I love that retro feel!!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Karina[/name_f]. It feels fresh and understated

I love [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]!
[name_f]Emmylou[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurel[/name_u]
[name_f]Karen[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
I wouldn’t do [name_u]Mallory[/name_u] because of it’s meaning and I like variations to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].
