Baby girl

[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], little sister to [name_u]Connor[/name_u] [name_u]William[/name_u], joined our family on [name_u]November[/name_u] 10. [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] is my mom’s maiden name, and ever since I was little I hoped to have a little girl and use this as her name. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] was my husband’s great-grandmother’s name, and we loved the ultra feminine pick to balance with [name_u]Keegan[/name_u].

Oh I love a maiden name honour. Congrats!!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] this!

Congratulations!

I love the name! Would you have used [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] if she had been a boy? [name_u]Or[/name_u] only for a girl?

I know it’s more common for boys BUT [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] has always felt feminine to me- I think because it’s my mom’s maiden name, and she once said she wished she had used it for one of her girls in some way. So to me, [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] was only an option if I had a daughter.
