Hello, my daughter was born last week and although I have a shortlist of names, I am unable to make a decision - I need some advice!!
The only thing I am certain of is that she will have one middle name: [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f].
I am aiming for a first name that is easy to spell, is feminine (not androgynous), will suit her in a variety of professions, and goes well with her older brother’s name ([name_m]Ivan[/name_m]).
So far the shortlist is:
[name_f]Maud[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
Congrats! I like [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] the best, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f] has a rhyming quality. In second place, I’d go with [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] seems a little long as does [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] work well together and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f] works well too.
I really love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. With the middle name being [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f] I would go for [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
From your list I really like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f]. If none of the names from your name feel right for your daughter maybe:
With [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f], I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] if you want a name that’s more popular/familiar, and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] if you want one that’s more unusual/distinctive. Since she’s here, you can try out both and see what feels right for her.
