Baby Name Books

What baby name books do you love? I’m putting in a book order in a week and am looking for some interesting books on names. Something other than alphabetical popular names. Also, I’m leaving in the morning for some wilderness adventures, so if I don’t respond, don’t think I’m rude. I’m just far from technology. Thanks.

Oh, and [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name]'s books are a given of course. I already have them all though.

[name]Edit[/name]: I’d also be interested in books where the names aren’t the focal point, but they have great inspiration. Mythology for example. I’ve lately been interested in Welsh mythological books and found some delicious names!

[name]Bruce[/name] Lansky’s “[name]Baby[/name] Names around the World” is very good. There is also a book he assisted in writing, it has something to do with the first impression of a name, but I forgot the title.

Edit: Title is The Baby Name Personality Survey, by Bruce Lansky and Barry Sinrod

I adore “Llewllyn’s Complete Book of Names”. Admittedly for the [name]Pagan[/name], witchy sort, but it’s a good one to have if you love unusual and often historical names.

I have four baby name books:
The very best baby-naming book ever by [name]Diane[/name] [name]Stafford[/name]

The very best baby name book by [name]Bruce[/name] Lansky

Beyond [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Aiden[/name] by [name]Linda[/name] Rosenkrants and [name]Pamela[/name] [name]Redmond[/name] Satran

The baby name wizard by [name]Laura[/name] Wattenberg

My favorites are beyond [name]Ava[/name] and aiden and the baby name wizard:)

Thanks! Looking into some of those that I don’t already have.
