So I have been thinking about names a lot lately as I am trying to get pregnant via AI.
I have three kids whose names are [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] Trezel, [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Kalen[/name_u], and [name_f]Alyson[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
I have both a girls’ list and a boys’s list. I want to honor either my great-grandfather, my great-grandmother, or my grandma somehow by using their name as a middle name, but I don’t really care for their first names - [name_m]Cecil[/name_m], [name_f]Mildred[/name_f] and [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. I would probably use my great-grandpa’s last name as a middle name (Woodley), but really don’t know what i would do for a girl.
The starred names are really my favorites right now, but it changes weekly. Help me narrow it down please! What do you like? [name_f]My[/name_f] last name begins with a B and has two syllables. [name_f]My[/name_f] first name has no nickname options and I would like to be able to give my child a nickname option.
From your girls list I think that [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] go the best with your other kids names
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Mildred[/name_f]
From your boys list I like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Graham[/name_m], [name_m]Simon[/name_m] with your other kids names. I think they could work well with [name_m]Cecil[/name_m] too!
I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is the one that fits with your children’s names best - it’s a popular, classic name that goes well with [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]. The other boy’s names seem a little more vintage. I think [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] would be my other favourites for you. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Woodley sounds OK but I’m not keen on [name_m]Henry[/name_m] Woodley or [name_m]Edward[/name_m] Woodley.
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Cecil[/name_m] sounds adorable, as does [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Cecil[/name_m]! What about [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] for a little girl? Maybe [name_f]Helena[/name_f]? [name_f]Millicent[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_m]Miller[/name_m], [name_m]Milo[/name_m] maybe?
As for the girl’s names I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] fit best with siblings. So maybe [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]? [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]? [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Mila[/name_f]? You could use [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] to honour [name_f]Mildred[/name_f] (similar in sounds) so [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]?
You could go with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and then perhaps call her [name_f]Millie[/name_f] to honour [name_f]Mildred[/name_f]. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] or [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] would be sweet.
I love the sound of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f] too.
With [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] and [name_f]Alyson[/name_f], I would choose…
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] ([name_m]Lucian[/name_m] means “light” as does [name_f]Helen[/name_f] so it would honour your grandma)
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Cecil[/name_m]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] OR [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] Woodley (to honour your great-grandfather)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] Woodley
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f] (similar to [name_f]Mildred[/name_f])
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] (similar to [name_f]Mildred[/name_f])
